As title said, started new char, Dunmer, i dont want to do vvardenfell but then i dont particularly want to quest in EP either ( find most zones upto Eastmarch dreary n boring if u wondering)

Err aye the point of this, can i take boat from vvardenfell an just start questing for any faction?

After the One Tamriel update you can go anywhere and quest. The tough part is actually getting there. If you're a member of a guild I'd recommend finding someone in the roster that's at the location you'd like to go to and travel to them. If not then I'm not sure how you'd get from one alliance to the next

Find a guild and travel on a mate who is at Auridon.
or create an AD , cause everybody know that the AD have the most beautiful towns ( Elden rooth , rawl'ka ... ), AD are also beatiful , and VERY strong cause we have kajiith in our faction.

I fell your pain ... the EP zone are so ugly ...

I actually second the notion of AD alliance being the best. Also I enjoy their story line the most because it feels like a continuous story.

Also, my characters in AD all have tons of extra skills points too, because of the story line quests I think. But other alliances their story line is not so mainstream and consistent. And forget about morrowind, if you stay in morrowind after tutorial you are seriously gimping your performance, because skills are SO RARE. No fighter/mage guild, no main story line, no alliance story with skill rewards and the skyshards are too few and well apart each other.

You can now travel by boat or cart to any zone, when in a city bring up the map and look for an anchor or cart symbol - when you hover over the icon it will tell you where you can travel to using that service.
GM - Ghost Sea Trading Co - NA PC

Epona was a Romano-Celtic goddess dating back to around 1800 to 2000 years before computer games were invented.

I'm sure there's an accessible wayshrine in the initial main zone (not starter island) of each alliance that you can go to straightaway. From there you can get the usual boat etc to the starter island.
