I am about 3 weeks into being here now so I think the OP and me are in a similar space with me just ahead but a bit.
I had read that Templar and DK were nearly matched as tanks. But I now feel that was outdated advice. Check the daye on any guide you read.
My three tanks are in the mid twenties and at this levem I can really feel the difference. The DK and the Warden always have tanking tools to go, the Templar struggles and I use self healing spam a LOT.
But even between the DK and Warden I feel the difference and I don't see anything in the Warden skill lines that will close the gap. While all three still have tanking mitigation tools left to unlock, even there the DK has 2 for every 1 the warden has left, and the Templar... has maybe 1 or 2 left total... yet by this level the DK has already unlocked a full tanking suit of tools and what is left is just "giving me a choice between ice cream and cake".
Whe I hit hot moments in big dungeon pulls...
Templar feels like: "OMG it burns, burns, /scream"
Warden: "Ouch its hot in here, I am sweating up a storm. think I'll move."
DK: "hey guys I brought sun tan lotion and a bikini, are we going to beach yet. Oh... what's that? Hey I got some marshmallows too for that. /nomnom"

Seems accurate I'd like to just add that Wardens are capable of being a main tank in all contents, including vet trials, but DK will always pull ahead in terms of pure survivability.
