Hey ZOS could we get some horse love please?

I have to say, I have always hated the way the ESO horses have been designed. The head is way too big, the forelock either looks absent or is somehow permanently in front of one ear, and the fetlocks look weird. Honestly seems to me like whoever designed them was trying to do the job solely from memory and then going, "There, that'll do!"

My first mount was the lioness, mainly because she looks more like the actual animal than the horses do respectively.
Having said that, I do have 3 horses: the freebie Skyrim one, the Imperial mount that came with the upgrade and the black horse you buy from the stables - mainly because if I'm going to ride a horse in a game, it has to be black...

yeah mounts have gotten out of hand- we have everything but horses. there should be like 50 types of horses- in every colour - available from the stable master. then more elaborate ones from the crown store- and perhaps decorations , heraldry, armour- available as crown stuff too. if ttheyre going to make crowns store an emphasis- they would be best served doing it right. people love costumes, mounts and skins. we should have more horsies!

and variaties of wooden rocking horses, painted with fire details, lightning bolts, snowflakes, and star pattern details.

and one more, a metalic dweamer Selby styled Mustang.

oh dont forget, another dweamer italian Ferrari thet most expensive crown item on market.

A wooden rocking horse would be a nice thing for the home.

Also slightly off topic but a small range of other toys would also be nice - seem as how they appear to be one of the most common items that it is possible to acquire when cleaning wardrobes yes. A little bear, a little cuddly Khajiit, some kind of daedric pin doll thing.

Man, I was totally going to make a "horse love" joke on this thread yesterday, but decided against it because I thought it would be in poor taste, and yet several other people did it anyway... yet another missed opportunity to inject inappropriate innuendo into an otherwise innocent subject. Damn!

Anyway... yeah sure, more horse breeds would be cool. More canine and feline breeds also. Exotic animals as well. I'd never turn down the opportunity to mount a new rare and unique animal!

For me, the most "realistic" horse model/animation will be the ones in Red Dead Redemption - they even change leading leg in canter!
Now, I don't expect ZoS to put that much detail into model/anim but, considering they want to make money off of this, it's shameful that the models/animations are soooooo much worse than in a game that came out so long ago...

But horse love jokings aside, go on, give them ideas! The sad part ios, all those ideas will show up in the crown store, or crown crates, and not asd in-game mounts as they should, but still... worthwhile to have as options!

I definitely would love to see an one-horse imperial chariot myself... or a deer for bosmer...

I got the alliance horse and it's just too small. I expected a big battle charger, but it looks like a skinny pony. Last Crown mount I buy

Clydedale were used in a movie, "Krull", love those "thunderhooves" ran like The Flash. what were they called in that movie?

That's because all they did was slap some curtains on the basic horse. Let's hope they eventually break down and do horses right.

Of all the video games with horses I've seen, the best remain Bethsoft's horses in TES IV: Oblivion.

Anatomically correct. Excellent animations. That hind limb "folds" up properly during the stride, unlike the rotation around the hip joint that I see in Red Dead Redemption. Good neck set, good proportions for a decent saddle horse.

I was disappointed by the horses in Skyrim - I felt they moved like cows. Dairy cows, to be specific. They were also poorly detailed.

I'm even more disappointed by those in ESO. Even my most horse-crazy toon doesn't ride her Blanco as much as she did in Oblivion . . .

I will say this though, the ESO horses have the best personality idles. To me, the perfect horse would be the Oblivion horse with the ESO personality idles and Skyrim's head tracking.

I would like to see different horses in different stables, much like the situation in Oblivion and Skyrim. If you wanted a black horse, you had to go to Cheydinhal in Oblivion or Whiterun in Skyrim. I'd love to see the same in ESO, and more than just the measly 3 for in game gold.

I love horses in this game!

Hope they won't change a thing about them. More variety? Switchable Armor? Of course! Options are always welcome!

In other words, give the horses distinct looks/breeds AND appropriate cultural gear. Please?

Some more "regular" horses would be nice. I've stuck with my plain old 700 crown black horse this whole time.... honestly, I've no interest at all in the 'special' mounts they keep releasing. Makes it hard to understand the fuss/interest in crown crates, since they're all about Crazy Mounts. Meh. /shrug
