Torug's Pact first Bonus should be changed from giving Spell Damage to give both WD and SD

Torug's pact is the set that everyone will be talking about until and after HORT. It is a great concept to have a set that works with Weapon Enchantments, but with the latest changes to it people will be able to deal extremely good DPS by just equipping damage weapon enchantments and Light attacking. That's just terrible.

Firstly ZOS should consider the consequences of having enchantments proc every 0.8 sec due to Infused weapons.

Secondly ZOS should consider changing the set effects like this:
2p bonus: Increase Spell Resistance
3p bonus: Increase health
4p bonus: increase Weapon Damage and Spell Damage
5p bonus: Increases the potency of your weapon's enchantment by by 30% and reduces the cooldown on the enchantment's proc by 1 second

PS I've ignored up until now the fact that Molten Armaments benefits more magDKs, while Igneous Weapons offers both SD and WD increase. Why?
Either introduce unique features that benefit stamina users, or change some current unique features like Torug's Pact and Molten Armaments to include Weapon Damage bonuses.
It seems only fair since the addition of Law of Julianos, which was a magika copy of Hundings Rage

    Just to be clear, we never promised that the performance in Cyrodiil would be fixed with today's patch. What we did say was that we were continually working to improve performance by adding little things in at a time, which includes some items in today's patch. There's no magic bullet to fix all performance-related issues, though.

    Can't have anything unique in the game anymore. Always gotta have mirror copies for stam or ruin cool stuff that benefits magic. A.k.a. rip nirnhoned because it was a useful magicka trait.

    We dont want a mechanic that works worse then procsets. When this goes live, evryone will say that viper and co was just a children birthdayparty against this in pvp. And in pve there will be no challenge left, nearly evryone will have to much dps for all content, including the trials hm.

    just to clarify, I'm magicka player and I don't want torug to work this way..

    to easy to get, to prowerful imho, makes any other magicka DD set/weapon useless...

    Also, unlike stam builds, it takes skill to play a mag build, except sorc.

    It will go from being a niche set that people might use, to the single BiS set for everything...

    3.5k oblivion damage every single round is way too OP, it will effectively be the new viper.

    You do realize that as soon as HOTR goes live and the set remains as it is you will see everybody switching to magika builds, going tank, using Class skills and weaving Light Attacks

    I think Torug's is fine the way it is.
    I think the infused weapon trait is fine the way it is.

    Keep in mind that not everyone who uses Torug's plans on using it with an (enchanted) infused weapon. And, not everyone with and (enchanted) infused weapon plans on wearing Torgue's.

    That being said, IF the combination of the two is as OP as some claim (ZOS will have to be the judge of that), then why not offer a simple solution ... something like:
    (Torug's Pact)
    * "The 5th bonus will not activate on enchanted weapons having the infused weapon trait." *

    And there you have it ... problem solved AND in a way that leaves the infused weapon trait as is, while at the same time not nerfing Torug's into the ground.

    The nature of eso is stamina has some unique powerful builds and magic has others. Not every build needs to be viable for every style of play imo.

    Just an observation that torgugs is getting changed as part of the patch in playtest now so this whole thread might serve a purpose but likely only if posted in the PTS forum.

    You know this set was an intended tanking set from the start right?? Removing the ability to work on infused would make the set utterly useless. I would rather see ZOS fix the infused enchant who´s the main-villain at the moment (and the oblivion enchant as its sidekick)

    They nerfed it not enough:

    8,7k dps added in that fight just by Torug's Pact enhanced weapon procs. That's around 20-25% of the dps of a progamer. The only thing you need to observe is to weave light attacks between skill executions.

    If this goes live there will be just one best-in-slot-set for magicka and stamina builds in this game. You can even trash your vMA staffs. Yes, stamina build users will wear it too or how do you think the TO got the idea to add weapon damage too. My god, I would maybe even use this on a tank build.

    Really cool for build and gear diversifikation, pretty cool for avoiding proc builds being too strong (irony off). Aren't those the goals ZOS wanted to achieve overall ? Awesome for light attacking "anchor specialists" in PUGs though...

    If this will ever go live, I am absolutely sure at last, that ESO developement and quality checking is truly non-existent.

    Honestly, I think all the little gankblades are scared that their losing their crutch proc sets and Torug is gonna de-throne their scrubby butts, lol. I love it.
