Same. I almost bought the awesome red, white, and blue dye stamp - then I found out dye stamps are used once, only for costumes, and not for armor. I'm never buying a dye stamp, and I'm wondering if those who did were under the assumption I was - dyes were permanently added to your dye pallete, could be used on armor, and each color could be used independently.MornaBaine wrote: »I would buy permanent unlock dyes. There are several armour pieces and costumes that have been in the game for ages that dye even worse. It has nothing to do with any "nonsense direction the dye system is being taken in".
Does it look different with the special dye stamps?PrinceShroob wrote: »I highly doubt that this is some insidious plot to make people buy Crown store dyes, or a deliberate decision. It's probably just because the costumes are lifted from NPC wear. They were designed with NPC aesthetics in mind, and most NPCs wear the outfits in monochromatic colors. Submit a ticket about it and they might look into it. Personally, I think both costumes are fetching in their default colors.
The easiest way to predict how a costume will dye is to look at the colors NPCs wear the costume in. If they're varied, it will probably dye "well."
I say the same for medium armor. Looks damn terrible.
