Humiliation
I just started my first ever dungeon and did it solo, didn't know what to expect and honestly thought it would go terrible. However, it actually went perfect with no deaths. The dungeon was Volenfell I think it's called, I got it from undaunted. So I finished that then (Full of confidence at that moment) decided to take another one and I got cradle of shadows, make my way over there I had been there before just to get the heroic personality but didn't actually go fully in. Get to the first group and I'm getting feared, poisoned. After killing them I am like damn these are tougher than the other dungeon, I don't even make it to the first boss because I'm getting overwhelmed by these guys. I quit for now solo, but will try this with a group

✭✭✭✭✭Cradle of Shadows is a DLC dungeon and they're known to be much harder than the original base game ones. They also put in tactics which sometimes force you to be grouped in order to complete bosses.@Turelus - EU PC Megaserver

✭✭✭✭✭First, these dungeons are designed for groups of 4, not meant to be done solo. Many of the group dungeons like Volenfell or City of Ash I (but not II) are very easy and can be done solo, even if they are not designed to be.
The DLC dungeons, however, are on a much higher tier of difficulty and additionally, they have fight mechanics that require multiple players and that make it extremely difficult--if not impossible--to complete solo.Nightfighters ― PC/NA and PC/EU

✭You are unlikely to be able to complete Cradle of Shadows solo. This is mainly because you will get to Dranos, he will pin you down with ads and one shot you because you have no one to interrupt the ads and free you. This can actually be overcome if you drop DoT's and AoE ults right before he pins you so the damage from these kills the ads and frees you, however dealing enough AoE damage to the ads while you are pinned down will be difficult for a stam build. Caltrops and Endless hail will be required at the least, along with whatever other AoEs you have that can be cast before you get pinned.5
