If all of your characters are your main, choose one that was created earliest and not deleted. I'm going to use D&D terminology here for reasons.

I can't properly answer this. Originally I had planned to be "chaotic good" to match my own personality and preferred playstyle... however my character has gone down a dark path due to certain circumstances. At this point I am unsure of whether he is chaotic good, neutral, or evil... all I know for certain is that he is chaotic.

Honestly, I always found the D&D alignment system overly simplistic. A good roleplaying character isn't defined by their alignment, but rather by they personality, values, background experiences, motivations, and biases, as well as their various personal quirks.

For the sake of fun, I'll say "Lawful Evil" just because my main is an assassin who does adhere to the codes of the DB... but yeah. She doesn't really fall into any alignment cleanly. *shrug*
    Living vicariously through my characters.

    My Girls:
"If you were trapped in your house for, say, a year, how would you pass the time?"

Nephikah the Houseless, dunmer assassin: "I suppose I could use the break. I have a lot of business holdings now that need management."
Swum-Many-Waters, elderly argonian healer: "I think that I would enjoy writing a memoir."
Silh'ki, khajiit warrior-chef: "Would this one be able to go outside, to the nearby river? It's hard to fish without water!"
Peregrine Huntress, bosmer hunter: "Who is forcing me to stay inside, and where can I find them?"
Lorenyawe, altmer mechanist: "And why would I want to go outside in the first place? Too much to be done in the workshop."
Lorelai Magpie, breton master thief: "I'd go nuts. Lucky for me, I have a little experience sneaking out!"
Rasheda the Burning Heart, redguard knight: "I would continue my training to keep my skills sharp."
Hex-Eye Azabi, khajiit daedric priestess: "I suppose it would be lucky, then, that I built a shrine to Mephala in my backyard."
Yngva Stormhammer, nord bandit (reformed...ish): "I hate being inside even when I'm not forced to be. GET. ME. OUT."
Madam Argentia, vampire dunmer aristocrat: "I suppose it would be more of the same. I have a rather... contentious relationship with the sun."
Mazie gra-Bolga, orc scout: "Uh... I'd have to house train my bear..."
Felicia the Wanderer, imperial witch-for-hire: "What Lorelai said."
Calico Jaka-dra, retired khajiit pirate: "This one would like a rest from her grand adventures. Her jewel shop runs out of stock!"
Shimmerbeam, blind altmer psijic: "Provided that I am confined to Artaeum, I do not think I will want for things to occupy my time."
Shauna Blackfire, redguard necromancer: "Sounds like paradise. I hate people."
Kirniel the Undying, cursed bosmer warrior: "I would feel useless, not being able to fight."
Echoes-from-Dragons, argonian who thinks she's a dragon: "All the better to count my hoard!"

(Signature idea shamelessly stolen from Abeille.)

I'd say chaotic neutral. He is generally evil but not completely.

The Riften Ripper on the other hand...

Most all of my characters are morally gray. There are several who don't murder willynilly. But they will steal in occasion.

Thus leading to the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood storylines, where he truly falls from grace.
For my own head-canon reasons, he climbs out of that darkness, but remains morally damaged.

He still fights for good, but his killings and thievery have damaged his reputation more than killing his king.

He kinda falls in between chaotic and neutral good now, he's trying to make up for his actions.

Chaotic good or lawful evil I think.

I thought lawful evil was following the law, but using it for evil purposes? Like Darth Vader, or a crooked politician. If my understanding is correct, the first aspect (lawful / neutral / chaotic) defines behavior, whereas the second aspect (good / neutral / evil) defines intent... a character who means well could not be classified as evil.

    - saved Nirn from Sai Sahan
    - saved all savable slaves no matter race, gender, alliance
    - saved 30M gold if housing would ever git gud
    - Awoids killing feline beings, such are senches, lions, sabrecats
    "-"
    - racist toward bretons
    - killed King Kurog
    - didn't kill whiny breton merchant wannabe queen Emeric
    - Silencer of DB
    - Stolen everything that wasn't nailed to the wall
    - Uses breton infants guts for fishing

I would say this is slightly evil. But neither lawful or chaotic. Kinda neutral, I guess.

Since I've killed countless innocent NPCs doing the assassin's guild quests, and at other times, its got to be an evil alignment. I chose Lawful Evil because I fight for the Dominion and don't generally run around killing everyone in sight, I did it to complete the quests and get the achievements (and ok, maybe sometimes just for fun...) but then again I always help people in quests when I can, and give second chances unless its clear the person is truly a lost cause.

I picked Lawful neutral but honestly.. I'm not sure which alignment fits at this point. she tries to do good, but also occasionally gives in to her anger. she mostly obeys the laws, but she is also a thief and an assassin, but she also obeys the guild laws. she attempts to obey laws of the land more or less, but she also doesn't even try to follow green pact anymore. she does have a set of priorities that dictate her choices, and she does try to help, may even go out of their way to help and doesn't hurt people for no reason. but she also has no problem with filling her dark sacrament contracts, she feels no qualms stealing as a crime of opportunity, anymore than she does while on guild sanctioned heists. I..... have no idea how to categorize her in DnD terms becasue when I created her, I wasn't thinking in DnD terms.

Cedric was lawful good for a while. But after the events of Orsinium, he fell to a dark place after becoming a Kingslayer.
Thus leading to the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood storylines, where he truly falls from grace.

Heh, the same thing happened to my main character after Orsinium. I wasn't sure if I'd be able to play Dark Brotherhood with her, but killing her High King's closest ally (and then discovering that the man she loves is still alive but she can't find a way to get to him) sent her into an emotional tailspin that made her a pretty easy mark for a "family" of people with blood on their hands. I'm still playing through the DB storyline, so we'll see how things go for her.

In general, though, I guess I'd have to call her Neutral Good. She's good-hearted and tries to do what's right, and she has a pretty strong sense of duty, mostly as it relates to forcing herself to do whatever she has to do for a higher cause because she knows she's supposed to be the hero. But she also has a pretty strongly-ingrained thieving habit and in some cases her moral compass falls more on the side of what she can get away with.

It might be more of a true Neutral now that she's been pulled into the world of assassins, but she's got some interesting (if not entirely rational) rationalizing going on in her head. And as I said we'll have to see what she's looking like once this phase gets past its big finish.

    Hrm, voted chaotic neutral.

Both of my characters see themselves as mercenaries, doing whatever pays the best. The idea that they are even slightly "loyal" to an alliance is laughable.

Will follow a generally good moral compass in quest choices, choosing to save lives rather than killing people.

However, they are both outright thieves and assassins both sanctioned and unsanctioned for the right amount of money.

They think nothing of breaking into somewhere simply because it has a lock to pick. Also they have a tendency to rifle through backpacks, safeboxes, and storage areas looking for that something special. They can be very choosy about what they will take - recipes, furniture crafting recipes, motif books and pages, stuff that has some real value to them.
