My healplar is a paladin, but her patron is Azura (not a Divine) and she does not shy from vengeance when appropriate. Overall though, she is quite 'good' and nurturing.

My petsorc is also pretty good but just a bit darker. And since she doesn't have to worry about ever being a 'fallen paladin', she engages in theft. Yup, she steals millet when she can away with it help feed her salmon/millet/tomato soup habit.

Even on the internet, clear communication is important; it can be the difference between "helping your Uncle Jack off a horse" and "helping your uncle jack off a horse"; the difference between "knowing your s***" and "knowing you're s***".

My main is chaotic evil, she will do anything for control and power, at the expense of anyone or anything other than herself, but then I saw Sheogorath, and well, it kind of fits, half the time her attempts for power cannot be considered sane, she lost all sanity in an attempt to control her fate.

Chaotic neutral. Yeah, my main is a thief and assassin but also can be helpful on a whim. Often indulges in YOLO behavior so is somewhat unpredictable. Mostly just out for number one but hates slavers and will go out of her way to mess with them and others that are oppressing the underdog. Then will often steal from said underdog. To keep them on their toes, like.

    Oookay well, let's go...

My playstyle is mostly a Good Person that isn't afraid to bend the law in order to get *** done or right a wrong. My Nightblade Katt is a Lawful Khajiit, she knows right from wrong and she more or less acts on the right reasons. However, she joined the Dark Brotherhood and the Thieve's Guild willingly, but for the right intentions. In Hew's Bane Katt wanted to help settle the mystery of the Dowry and stop the Conspiracy against the Guild. In the Brotherhood, she used them to help rid the Gold Coast of the Oppressive Red Sails and Order of the Hour, even if it was through Murder.

tl;dr My Characters are wannabe Goody Two Shoes but aren't afraid to get dirty to do what's right.

I'm a Templar that occasionally helps allies, but often for my own gain. I pay my bounties, but just so I can rob and murder civilians without the guard batting an eye. I also really like money, and won't mind relieving it from others, no matter how they protest.

I also murder civilians that no longer have anything in their pockets worth stealing.

Edit: as a bonus I like to watch the bodies of the innocent be claimed by Molag Bal at every dolmen I find, before I decide to destroy it.

I have too many a lot of characters, and at different times and moods they are all "my main"

They do kind of fall into two main groups (so far...give me time):

    Order of the Dragon
(mostly designated by the coolo tattoo) who knew that the attempted planemeld was coming; a now missing matriarch of Altmer clan Caemaire was given a prophecy (to hear details of it, see below for link to the incredible Malukah singing it); and the Order of the Dragon fights against the planemeld (even those dunmer members who don't think of Malog Bal as "evil" but rather that which must be overcome to prove one's worthiness). The order as a whole generally works for the good of all. So a tendency in general toward Lawful Good

Prophecy set to music (otherwise known as musical genius):

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwp8UxIY_iM

Orsimer Clan (come to think of it, I don't have a formal clan name) to which most of the Orsimer that I and my husband rolled up belong; they used to be centered in Nibenay Valley - where there was also a city/encampment of the Order of the Dragon, completely destroyed by the events that led to the Nibenay Valley Dolmen. This is one reason why in my personal 'verse, any of my Orsimer characters interacting with Abner Tharn in person will respond to his lecture about how he takes care of his people/responsibilities (including Nibenay Valley) by punching him in his nose (looks like it's been broken at least once). They are mostly Chaotic Good as "the code" is more important than exactly how you apply it.
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

If all of your characters are your main, choose one that was created earliest and not deleted. I'm going to use D&D terminology here for reasons.

None of the choices really fit my character - since he's both good and evil. My vampire goes out of his way to selflessly help people in need and saves lives - but he also murders mass amounts of innocent people if it means he gets a cool looking robe.

    Maybe chaotic neutral?

I dunno. I fee like the choices here are inadequate. It doesn't take into account that a character can be both good and evil.

Not a roleplayer. Probably chaotic neutral. I go out of my way to heal people in need, even if they're in the lower part of a delve or public dungeon and it would be a hassle to get back to where I was. On the other hand, I've murdered the hell out of some innocents (mostly on accident. Mostly) and i rob everything blind.

So... Chaotic neutral seems like a good fit.

I like to think they're Lawful Evil, but if I am honest with how they act (random acts of murder, flipping factions, saving people one moment and murdering them another) they have to be Chaotic Evil.

When I roleplay them or think of head cannon they're lawful evil though.

Blimey. I have three characters; all were planned at more or less the same time and they are all equally important. But to hopefully answer your question, the character I had wanted to play from the very start is probably edging towards Chaotic Neutral (Argonian Warden - refugee). I'm hoping that she is rather more more complicated and contradictory than that.

Hmm. I was going to say "Neutral Good", because that's what most characters I make in anything are (tries to do actual good, isn't obsessed about rules & laws). But that's only story/quest-wise. Because of gameplay/meta reasons (needing money, etc), I do a lot of stealing & pickpocketing.

(as opposed to when I play single-player TES games. Across all my characters in Oblivion, I've never joined TG or DB, have stolen under a dozen items, and have maybe 4 recorded 'murders'.)

As it's been awhile since I played D&D I remembered this old alignment determination quiz. If anyone needs it here it is https://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/dnd/20001222b

In the past I always remember choosing neutral evil unless I was playing a druid and then it was true neutral (had to be according to 2nd ed rules lol)
