How do you steal an instance?

Someone foreign to the group asks for crown and then kicks everyone and invites his/her friends on last boss of vmaw

    Does that really happen?

Happened to us last night so yes. Apparently happens a lot. Never EVER pass crown to someone you don't trust, if crown needs to invite someone to group, do it manually

Lemme tell you about a bridge I'm selling, mate.

We don't have weekly lockouts so you can't really steal an instance in this game. I suppose you could really *** some people by kicking them all but they just wait for the instance to reset after 15 minutes or whatever, *** up but still a different thing.

Lockouts would. It prevent what OP experienced and they offer nothing positive to the game.

I didn't say we should have them, I just said you can't steal an instance from someone if they can just go back in.

    Wait, really? That's pretty terrible.

Tbh I'd think that if video was taken of this clearly happening it should maybe even be reportable. Can't believe people would do this.

Ppl who don't wanna deal with the twins and believe that they can take down Rakkhat and only him for an easy shot at the skin?

This is a very odd thing.

Whoever steals the instance still has to kill Rakkhat.

Now, if these players are good enough to kill Rakkhat smoothly and reliably, then it means that they should be good enough to get to Rakkhat in a timely manner. So basically, the invaders just saved themselves half an hour. Whoop-dee-do.

If stealing an instance will save this invading group a lot more than half an hour, then they're probably going to have a rough time killing Rakkhat and there's a good chance that they won't even be able to clear.

This. How did he get majority votes? And how did he not get removed after disbanding the group?

There is no vote to kick in a trial. If you have the crown, you can kick whoever you want.

To be honest it's your fault for passing crown to a random you don't know.
And to the people saying report them. Go for it, but you passed crown and got kicked. I fail to see how that's reportable. Is it shady? Sure. But simple solution is to keep crown lol.

Yeah I hear you , I wasn't the crown though, but the crown did know the person, which kinda makes it worse lol. The kid was an *** I guess.

Vote-kick is only for Group Finder groups. Manually-formed groups have no vote-kicks and crown has all the power.

tbh if you're saving a Mol instance in 2K17 you should just disband the group once it's been over 2hrs or unistall the game

    My thought exactly.

This is honestly very confusing. Such "stealing" has no point whatsoever - if people can't pass Zhaj'hassa and Twins on their own, they won't kill Rakkhat.

The joke is honestly on them. This was like... absolutely meaningless thing to do. "Die, fools, die" :D

Still s**t move, of course :/ My sympathies to OP.

If this actually happened to me in-game the FIRST thing I would probably do is send that player a message simply stating
    touché

Next, I'd probably wallow in my sadness, contemplate deleting all my characters... but never actually do it. After that the only logical thing left to do would be to commence logging into the forums to tell like-minded people that I hope they need to mow their lawn everyday for the rest of their ... but killing rakhat alone will not award the skin

you have to kill all the bosses

    so as others have said

Read my post immediately before yours, a lot of the people I've heard of doing this do it for the jewelry drops not the skin.

If it makes you feel better, any group so trash that they couldn't beat twins for long enough that they went this route isn't gonna clear Rakkhat either.

I don't believe that's true. I remember people who filled in empty spots on Rakkhat getting the skin from the kill. Also, people got it from the old exploit that let them skip the whole trial and kill a braindead Rakkhat from the roof.
