    You need to think more critically

    In the thread that was calculating the value of preposterous, the findings were that at 5 piece purple preposterous you actually gain slightly more gold than using impen. However It is so slight that it is still better to use impen so as to have armor that is still useful outside of grinding gold.

    OP what they're trying to tell you is if you are grinding with your prosperous gear completely broken you are not getting the bonus from wearing prosperous at all

    Golding out prosperous gear is like golding a crafted, non-set inferno staff. Crazy thing is I've seen it before. Anyway, I'm sure you and all of the 11 players like you are upset about prosperous, and yes, it still is really weak, but it is an improvement than needed to happen.
    The generally amicable yet sporadically salty magplar that may or may not have 1vXed you in Sotha Sil. Who knows?

    so... I never got this trait, I kinda figured it might net enough gold to repair an item?? Beyond that, pointless! as u easily pick up more than enough trash to fully repair all your items..

    There are a few traits that need a rework imo, this was one, Hopefully others will follow.

    Killing mobs doesn't provide very much gold, even with the 90% boost. You can earn gold much faster just cooking stacks of green food and selling it to the NPC vendor. Farming mats or almost any other trading activity will provide even more.

    sure this "balance patch" feels just like morrowind balance changes more for the pvp players complaining on forums, and a big [snip] to all pve players, but really complaining about the gold trait that like 0.1% of players use

    Lol, do people actually use prosperous the way it was intended? haha. Well it stops the botters who do make money from it.

    The question is, will it be added to loot tables in trials now that it has a more useful purpose. Instead of worrying about 6 traits, we might have to worry about 7, not looking forward to that, please don't add it to trials ZOS.

    Reduced repair costs from Inpen trait was mathematically proven to net you more total gold when gold farming than prosperous did anyway.

    I have heard about a method where an imperial can use a full prosperous set and farm specific locations to get a lot of gold. I don't know the details but maybe that's why the op is upset?

    While it isn't exactly eloquent, I feel where OP is coming from. I have a prosperous set on my templar alt, and when I'm tired and just want to "zen out" and grind some gold, I can go into a public dungeon and solo the humanoid mob packs.

    Even IF I didn't have dozens of heavy repair kits at any given time and actually had to pay for repair costs, the mathematical gains from killing humanoid (especially imperial) enemies for one hour far outweighs any repair cost benefits from impenetrable. I did a by-the-numbers breakdown to prove all of this in the other prosperous thread going right now.

    I was actually going to gold out my prosperous set one of these days lol, seemed like a good long term investment. Oh well, not anymore. On the bright side, as some have noted here, I suppose it WILL cut down on bot gold, which is good I guess?
