This is the official feedback thread for the Mundus Stone changes. After you have a chance to try out different combat scenarios, let us know what you think of the current Mundus Stone values and balance.

    Shadow Mundus should have gotten an equal buff in comparison to Warrior in my opinion. Which is an extra 5% granted the bonus to warrior was a flat 42% increase.

    I'll settle with 3%.

    Why do you keep the Ritual unchanged, if what everybody is already abusing of is The Ritual + Witchmother's Potent Brew?

    Currently getting an issue with the lover and the lady mundus stones. Every time I port either via selecting a location on the map and paying the fee or by fast travelling in the wayshrines I lose my mundus buff entirely. I have only tested these two and they are of course two of the stones with decently significant changes to them. Along with this, I no longer get a message above my character saying that I've accepted the mundus once done, though the buff does show up. Below is a video linked to the clip I got of the bug.

    @ZOS_GinaBruno I'd love to test these changes, except that when I grab a mundus stone and then fast travel to my house, the mundus stone disappears... So it isn't exactly possible to test all the damage mundus stones properly... Please fix!

    Really liking the changes on paper though!

    Just as a note on anyone who wants to swap stones freely and quickly for testing: on the PTS you have 5500 free crowns every day, and you can buy mundus stones for your house from the Crown furnishing tab of the decorating interface for 1000 crowns each. The tooltips on these Mundus stone items are not updated yet though (Lover still shows spell resist as its buff, for example).

    Yep, same here; happened to me twice. I tried testing the Lover out and I replaced my current boon with it, then ported to my house. Did some tests and noticed my DPS was about 2-3k less than with the Thief... Checked my character sheet, no boon! Went back to the Lover stone, grabbed it, checked to ensure that I had it before porting: Yep, I did. Ported to my house, and then the boon disappeared again.

    The purchasable mundus stones (intractable furniture items) via the 'furniture crown store' need to have their descriptions updated!!!

    When the excuse you are using to nerf something is because every one is using it instead of the others. you are not doing your job right!!! You should have left the Thief mundus alone and instead just improved the others and let players decide for themselves if they want to change instead of forcing them too.

    You're taking more and more of the fun out of this game by forcing players to change things that don't need changing, especially in PVE

    It's time to get someone in there who not only knows what they are doing but has the balls to seperate PVP from PVE so neither affect the other.

    @Nebthet78 comeon you cant blame pvp for the change to thife mundus. It's a pve nerf that affect pvp.

    I would suggest possibly redoing the crit system. In dungeons and dragons. A crit is 5% and does 2x base damage before modifier. In eso, you can have 50% chance at a 1.5x damage including modifier. I would say I agree that people should have less crit chance, so my suggestion is maybe keeping theif the way it was, but lowering everyone's crit chance from abilities and passives. Then you could always increase crit damage and play with that. Having a 40-50% crit chance just feels way to strong in my opinion, which is why Impen has always been the best pvp trait. Oddly the npcs don't seem to crit damage equal to what the players do.

    Other than that the boons are great changes, but I think crit needs a rework.

    Mobs don't crit at all. They did in the very beginning of the game but tank were dying to random huge hits.

    Who doesnt? Okay this too generic response, people are more inclined in PVP to change mundus based on what they are missing, but it was still the best mundus

    I'd wish we had more actual testing feedback in the comments rather than cryptic opinions and wishful advice to the devs.

    As far as I could test, Lover mundus gives 4k pen in full purple divines gear. The usual amount you need imo is 10k(Some would say 15k but since the cap in pve is 18k I think that group debuffs /major breach and fracture could make for the rest. Maybe we'll need more in PvP so far even with the current meta.

    So, lets say 56 champion points make for 4,3k pen + a sharp weapon 2,5 k + lover mundus 4k in full divines+ tfs/spriggan or light armor passive. All the pen you need I think. PvP wise probably light armor builds would go atronach since they have extra pen with passives and for stamina users spriggan and infused oblivion dmg weapons are going to be common. In PvE I reckon is going to be hard to achieve the amount of crit % we had before even with the buffs to the gear and precise trait without sacrificing penetration

    Any constructive criticism is welcome, further testing is needed tho

    Kind of glad they didn't buff shadow. I was actually expecting a nerf to it as it's still going to most likely be the best for many pve setups, particularly with the buff to precise trait and crit armor bonuses. Overall crit percentages will be higher making shadow even more effective now than before.

    All the mundus stones (thief, shadow, lover, apprentice, mage) are within 1-2% damage difference apart from mage stone(well done zos for fixing stone diversity)

    Penetration stone making a come back is a very good move and should have never been taken away from the start. Doing what you guys did with penetration is a good move as it bridges the gap between coordinated groups and non coordinated groups (i personally hope people dont become lazy soon). At this point it's not clear if you are able to do minmax set ups to get more benefits, there probably is.

    The fact you can reach penetration cap with bare minimum effort (and a marginal difference if you try to do group coordination instead) is nice but also sad at the same time but oh well, I'm all for these changes in the end.

    However with all these changes the Mage Mundus stone is under performing quite a bit, maybe be looked in to?

    Really happy with these big changes, hopefully will open the game up to more diversity in builds.

    Agree tho that Shadow needs a small increase to keep pace.

    Why would shadow need an increase? It's pretty equal to thief. Shadow is 18% CHD in full divines.

    It's very efficient and crit still kills people even if they wear impen.

    Also ran into this. Makes it impossible to test out the mundus changes on a target a dummy unless you setup stones in your house or have someone in guild that has already done so. I noticed one of the guys in my guild had already done that so was able to test but imagine a lot of others might be running into this too.

    I don't PVP. I hate PVP... the only reason I go there is to fish and nothing more. I really wish they would get someone in there to completely separate PVE from the PVP in this game.

    Please reevaluate the changes to lover and sharpened. I agree with nerf to sharpen to bring it in line with other weapons traits. I do see a issue. The way it looks currently gold precise and divine lover Mundas will be BIS, testing is needed to verify.

    Here is what I am suggesting.

    Gold precise weapons= thief Mundas with gold divines armor
    Gold sharpened weapons= lover mundus with gold divine armor
    Gold defending weapons= lady Mundas with gold divine armor

    This should not nerf the current BIS great, but make it equal and give gear diveseiry. We should not be nerfing BIS gear to boost another, we should be looking to nerf to make equal, or buffing to make equal.

    Sharpen is still BIS but was king of DPS,

    Nerf to lover mundus means over powering sharpen weapon trait, unless sharpen weapon got further nerf. You clearly want race for sharpen weapon trait to be remain as was previously,

    This mundus is reason that DPS can use other triats, so big NO to any changes for lover mundus and killing diversity.

    I dont know why people are talking about diversity. Nothing will change, there will be a best setup. Just accept it, there is nothing wrong with it.

    And all honestly we dont even need to have traits to be close in effectiveness. We just need to make them all situational so there are different bests for different scenarios.
