SORCERERS... They are beyond overpowered, and have the best passives and self-buffs. It also doesn't help that they: Have the best mobility, can't go stealth but don't need it to engage and disengage, have an execute, have ridiculous healing, have the best crowd control, have pets, have the best burst damage, have great sustain, etc.
It's literally as though the devs said, "Let's make 1 class just clearly outshine the others, and have a bit of everything." Meanwhile... Dragonknights and Templars both lack reliable mobility (unless they go vampire). Dragonknights lack an execute. And just... Ugh. It's ridiculous how favored SORCERERS are. "Hey, are you trying to beat Maelstrom first time? Roll a SORCERER!"
I could continue going on and on at how ridiculous unbalanced SORCERERS are. So I'll just stop there.

The thing is... Nightblades always were easier to beat VMA with, than Sorcerers. Templars as well. In fact, most guides recommend that if you are new to Maelstrom Arena to use either: a MagBlade or MagPlar. As both can do high damage, sustain well, and heal through the damage being applied to them.
Also, a Nightblade has better mobility than a Sorcerer. Lol. You do know this, yes? As there's a penalty applied for every Bolt Escape that you do in succession. There is no penality for Nightblades' mobility skill. None. Also, Nightblades have better self-buffs and passives than Sorcerers. Last I checked, Sorcerers didn't have any berserk buffs. Nor any of the other cheesy self-buffs that Nightblades have. If a Sorcerer got even half of the self-buffs and amazing passives Nightblades have, then you'd truly know the term "overpowered".
So no. Sorcerers are not more so favored than Nightblades. In fact, I'll tell you what. Lol. Let me know when Sorcerers make up the vast majority of players in Cyrodiil, and then we can debate this further. As right now, for every Sorcerer there is? There is 3 to 4 Nightblades. And I think we both know why that is.

1)The majority of people create mages in mmorpgs because of the ez ranged dps. They think that they can beat melee fighters hiding behind their groups KSing their warrior allies. Whether they can win or not I don't care, it's just that cowardly way of thinking that makes me look down on them.
I love killing Mages. No respect for them. I my mind I teabag them without a fail even though I don't teabag enemies. Always gf to a fallen fighter.
2)I like the concept of Mighty Swordsmen, Heroic Knights, and Berserk Brutes rather that a guy dressed in robes. (females are ok tho xD )
From fighters I dislike roques and never miss a chance to duel them.

Next time you're in Cyrodiil, count how many Nightblades you come across compared to any other class. I can guarantee you that you will see way more Nightblades than any other class. Or if you're not a Cyrodiil guy, just see how many people request a duel with you are Nightblades. Again, most people will be Nightblades.
