Imperial City and Factions are highly unbalanced right now... most due to Zenimax's poor design.

So. If you're not an Ebonheart player, you can forget trying to get Molag Bal done in the centre of the sewers. It's pretty much impossible.

The non-CP campaigns are tough, due to fighting PVE NPCs with no CP - so you need a large group anyway. Vivec is a waste of time as its 100% a slobberknockle. Almalexia is all reds. Sotha Sil is pot luck... Kyne is a slobberknockle - and if you're already level 50 you can't get it done here anyway.

So, why are there more reds?? Well... that's thanks to Zenimax's crappy balancing between faction race choices.

Who make the best tanks? Nords and Argonians currently listed best in slot - Ebonheart both of them.
Who make the best healers? Argonians - Ebonheart.
Who make the best magicka DPS? Dark Elves - Ebonheart...

Khajits and High Elves make good DPS too for Stam and Mag classes respectively - both AD.

So... what about Bretons for magicka DPS? 3rd best option - at best. (Daggerfall)
Orcs for tanks or DPS? 3rd or 4th best option - at best (Daggerfall)
Redguards for tanks or DPS? 3rd, 4th or 5th option - at best (Daggerfall).

So... if you want to play a top blue character you have to invest in Any Race, Any Alliance with your money, or subject yourself to a second rate life. So... no-one makes Blue toons... a few make yellows... and most make Reds to get the boost for BiS toons for their respective roles. Thanks Zenimax. Elitist to the very core.

Do something about it... give us Any Race, Any Alliance as standard and free - or balance the races out better. Or, that's the end of PVP, I assure you.

IC mobs were at one time stronger than those found in other zones but were significantly nerfed last year. Fighting current IC mobs with no CP is much easier than fighting IC mobs with CP pre-nerf. A large group was not ever required.

Can confirm, have been soloing IC center, sewer banner bosses, and district bosses since IC's release -- as a Breton at the time. Man up, OP. PvE is easy mode.

So 10 EP chars, 1 EP race.

Orc and Redguard are two of the best stamina races for PVP, though. There's a reason a ton of stam players are one of those two, same thing on AD with khajiit and bosmer. If anything EP got shafted with no good stam race

And where do you take into account that races are based on, you know, where those races actually come from in Tamriel?

Personally i think the race choices are pretty balanced. But having equal opportunities becomes irrelevant in the grand scheme of things when certain classes/builds/meta is unbalanced and frequently changing. What may be an OP choice today, could possibly get nerfed tomorrow

It's no good saying Redguards are good in PVP - because PVP makes up a much smaller portion of the population than those doing PVE...

Yea OP, because race passives decide who wins. This is just the biggest bs. Good group play, making the right decision and using your damned brain is what wins. Heck, you could be running an Orc magsorc in pink weddingdress and still beat other people with good play. Race compliments your build. It doesn't make your build. Only the real crappy players depend on it.
