Do You Plan On Homing Shor Campaign Jul 10

I'd like to know how many of you plan on taking advantage of this new 7 day CP enabled campaign that will be opening up on July 10th.

OR

How many of you plan on staying on your current campaigns and the opening of Shor will not affect your PvP Home.

My vote aside, I don't think a fair representation of players visit the forums let alone participate.

Shor will be a nice niche server for those of us seeking smaller scaled fights.

If Almalexia's currently overwhelming EP presence stays on, they'll be bombed into submission. Else, they may find refuge in Sotha Sil.

Gonna be invading Shor on the reg to farm the eventual emp-trading racket that pops up yet again because it's inevitable. We've been doing it to Almalexia these past few days and we fully expect to farm emp-farmer tears on Shor too.

Too busy farming the blue potato legions in Sotha Sil. We go where the AP is. Plus the DC emp has somehow managed to get worse at the game, solo-murked him twice in 5 minutes last night.

No - I will stay on my current campaign, or simply Guest on Shor

I will still home Vivec on my Sorc and NB and Sotha Sil on either my DK or Templar. This is based on both PvE role specific CP distribution and faction allegiance.

We have a few that will guest it until Vivec resets and then they will change completely over....

IMO there will be a RED over population ... So I don't think the yellow are going to be able to win the campaign but the fights should be much better IMO

There will be much fewer destruction staff ult trains because there will be no reason to run them since the fights will be smaller and more spread out .... Hopefully this will keep out the HUGE zerg guilds ... I also hope they change the emp mechanic so that emp farming cannot occur...

I could careless about the alliance score ... I just want good fights .... But yea RED will overpopulate ... RED is the largest faction right now ... I think it is fun to fight as the underdog it makes you a better player ..

Was on Almalexia last night, the EP EMPEROR with the guild tag <Seven Vials> had a group of 3 - Requiem had a group of 4. 2 of the 3 emp group fellows had destro ult - this included the emp.

they camped DC GATE keep RESOURCES and tea bagged and camped our bodies while liberally dropping destro ult and dawnbreaker of smiting.

I have to thank him for the 60k ap we got off of him via resource d-ticks but the amount of disrespect over really nothing he could gloat over was disappointing to say the least.

so yeah, you will see destro ults no matter the size of the server.

and looking forward to fighting DEAD WAIT again

If the EP guilds playing Almalexia come to Shor, then yes, EP will be top population. If they stay no CP and go to Sotha Sil -- which would be good for Sotha Sil -- probably not. I think they'll go to Shor but time will tell. And some people will wait until Vivec's current campaign concludes.

It'll probably be a couple of weeks before the regular population settles down and we see what normal looks like.

I can say this: after 2 months on Lagvec, whatever kinda of screwed up Shor turns out to be it'll be a welcome change! (And I'm sure it'll be screwy somehow.)

I think red from Vivec will come over they have much higher Qs then the other 2 factions during prime time...Every night I log on Red is locked on vivec while the other 2 are 3 bars to barely locked...

I think we will see a few larger guilds come to escape the lag... I just hope guild groups understand that 12 is all you need to accomplish anything and a AP sweet spot...

No it will be fine ... Had had 3 bars at prime time... people prefer CP PVP. It will be dead off times but at primetime it will be some of the best PVP in the game ..

Had Red was locked 2 weeks before they switched the campaign...
Average prime time play: 3 bars red, 2 bars yellow, 2 bars blue.... little to no lag ... great 4 to 12 man guild action

We were extremely frustrated on Vevic we earn alote of AP but lag and Zergs are very bad... We have several members in the top 50 keep in mind we are casual also keep in mind we have 30% not playing due to not wanting to play in lag...

I am happy if it gives players somewhere to go vs waiting extended periods of time in prime time ques I don't see it being anything more then a place for people to wait while qued for Vivec. Haderus was nothing more then an emp flipping campaign and I see this new version being no different. I still think it is a good move as the present ques for Vivec can simply be to long

I simply won´t home it as vivec tends to be the only morning active campaign and that´s the majority of my playtime.

I will guest Shor for certain when it is released and definitely play it when Vivec has it's ridiculous hour plus queues and play it to farm telvar in IC. I guess it just depends on how the campaign is in terms of faction balance and activity. If it becomes like Haderus was, as many state it will, it'll be only for what I said previously, if it becomes a real pvp campaign I would be willing to switch to it.

This server will be good at Primetime unfortunately it will be abused by guild wanting to farm emp during off hours... but I predict 3/2/2 bars at primetime... red with the most pop...

@Montayva and I will be homing Shor on our AD. It is my hope to form a solid small group to regularly PvP there.

Speaking from experience from the problems of old Haderus, what will make or break Shor is a consistent oceanic population across all 3 factions. I'm also very aware that this is a very delicate line to draw and balance. But if we can come together and make the effort, I believe the emp trading can be thwarted.

Starting out with the predetermined mind state of "it will just be an emp farming server" is destructive and will ultimately lead to such a conclusion. We need to make a collective effort here to make this work.

I've not gone to Cyrodiil in a while because I'm not going to wait forever being 200+ in queue most nights on PS4.

I'll go too whichever the main zerg guilds don't because i'm sick of queues and i'm sick of it literally being 60 zerg pugs running at eachother all day in 10 fps pvp.

Its boring and i fail to see how anyone can find that fun.

I am really hoping there are enough people in the community who dont want to see this server become 'just another buff server' for any specific faction. I love EP, but seeing as the current 7 day is flooded with EP our small group has decided to home and play on our AD's there to try and bring a little balance to the population.

In the end I guess what will really make the difference though is which guilds decide to home there and run regularly.
