You can avoid being tethered technically if you are far enough away from the totem, it wont tether you until you get close enough....but if you are already tethered you can never get far enough away to break the tether. The hist sap is an annoying mechanic, but its one that just takes you out of action for only a few seconds, not that big a deal.

    Veteran ROM and COS I think struck a pretty good balance of difficulty on HM. A little harder wouldnt bother me, but I dont think I could handle the forum rage if it much more than that.

    The current state of ICP and WGT is too easy IMO.

    I want them to be impossible. At least the same as vICP/vWGT were when they came out. Better if they were the same as when vMoL came out. First clear should be a month into launch.

    But yeah, dreams... The dungeons are gonna be facerolled by 4 DDs 30 min into launch on PTS and stay like that for live launch.

    I want a medium between face roll and mazzatun

    Because there is no inbetween on this game.
    Most players face roll content then go into these dungeons and get rekt. They nerfed wgt and icp too much they would of been a great medium. But this game is pretty much two difficulties

    Not all veteran dungeons are meant to be pug-able. Just as I said, you already have 15+ pug-friendly vet dungeons in the game while experienced players have only 2 dungeons that remain interesting and challenging to them.

    Then they should remove them from LFG or at least the random selection of LFG

    Preferably somewhere near CoS, ICP or WGT. RoM is too annoying. Sneaking through half the dungeon is not fun.

    They're making them hard as vCoS and vRoM, at the same time they nerf the hell out of CoS and RoM. Veli helms and skins for everyone! Cheap motifs as well!

    That will probably encourage more people to go and buy the SotH DLC too.

    Same overall difficulty but less trash, less dps checks and more mechanics and fights that require skill rather than just op stats. To me an idea dungeon would be one where a skillful cp160 can clear but a drone who ground his way to cp630 in Skyreach would find impossible. Currently the dlc dungeons are the opposite.

    Don't really care. They can be puggable and easy to farm or they can be like vRoM and vCoS so i'll have to find 3 patient ppl to to do speed run, no death and hm with and i'll never bother to do these dungeons again. I guess in both cases i'll be playing those dungeons for a month tops. Honestly i'm more excited about cosmetic unlocks that these dungeons prolly gonna have than about dungeons themselves =) I only hope that there will be no random stuff like doors in vCoS hm or (especially) statues in vRoM hm. Those so called mechanics are just a bad game design.

    I'd prefer them difficult, but due to interesting mechanics, and less gimmicky cheap one shot attacks... and yes, less trash... or maybe more, but easier to kill. High HP trash is annoying to fight and specially if enrage timers are present...

    All in all, I'll be happy with less DPS races in my dungeons, please.

    Yes, or have an separate tab for them. Worst is the normal DLC dungeons with no level requirements so a level 10 get Wayrest sewer 1 and some other easy dungeons, then ROM and IPC who is almost as hard as veteran wayrest 1.
    Grinding just make you go in circles.
    Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    It's not a dps test, it's a test of the group's ability to stack, so the totem spawns by the boss in aoes and dies fast due to cleave damage. Yeah it drains the closest person, but it spawns on a furthest person from the boss, which is rarely a tank.

    Either way, totem is fine but sap is dumb. That's some stupid RNG, especially if a healer gets it.

    Going off on a tangent but someone mentioned a dungeon not taking long if you know how to skip fights. I would like to see no reward at the end if the dungeon isn't completely cleared. Would be nice to have a dungeon that required good mechanics from all three roles

    I dont mind harder, I just want there to be an option to exclude DLC content from group finder when im playing a character whos build im testing or just isnt met for the harder content at that time so nobody end's up having to carry me.

    Dynamic and unpredictable would be interesting. People say "harder" and we get bosses with doubled health. That's the opposite of interesting, or fun.

    But w/e. I'm feeling fatalistic about this particular update.

    Classes that don't need any class ability nerfs: Nightblades, Dragonknights, Sorcs, Templars, Wardens.

    i bought the ruins of Mazzatun (spelling?) when it first came out, and last week i finally did my first run through one of the dungeons (havent even seen the interior of the other) so i dont care.

    It seems to me that with Instancing it would be very possible to create both group and solo versions of the same dungeons / dlc. I sure wish that they would, because both HIST and REACH look really fun and interesting. But not being able to do them solo is a deal-breaker for me. I may be in the minority on this, but I suspect that I'm not entirely alone.

    Can't cry too much, because we just got Morrowind, and in no way am I running out of solo content yet -- so if they're going to issue group-only content, the time for it is ripe right now. But the Clockwork City had very damn better be do-able by solo players. Just sayin'.

    Easier than what? Most folks play solo most of the time, so going with that I would say regular and public need to be somewhat harder compared to what they are now, and as for the rest I can't say.
