Saw someone selling shoulders for no less than 300k, worst thing is, it might actually sell considering how are those motifs are.
Yeah they actually do sell quite high I sold 3 shoulders so far for 275k each and like 5 other ones for nearly 200-250k each
But they have slowed down alot now I have 12 listed atm in total in 2 guild vendors, and not one sold this week yet
What server / platform

Thats because its bugged. The drop rate was bugged on pc but had it patched. We are having it patched next week i believe.
Not gonna farm any more motifs until the transmog system is in place. I completed all motifs before Morrowind due to better drop rate on master writs...... and we all know how that worked out
It's one of the another tricks by ZOS to make money. Drop chances are *** and players who want it will be forced to buy it from crown store soon.

Can I ask if you have the Treasure Hunter passive on the character(s) that found them? Just curious if Treasure Hunter may actually be decreasing the chances with them as it increases the chance and quality on set items.

I've started doing this at Ledgerdmain Rank 4. Now I'm almost at rank 7. I haven't picked or stolen anything that wasn't a random chest on Vvardenfell, I have the passive, I have the achievement.
Total number of motifs looted: Zero.
Is this working as intended? Just checking, because... you know.
I personally don't believe the motif exists because the drop rate is.. well I'll have a higher chance of seeing myself coming from the future to tell me about everything there; and I won't believe it actually exists until I find a page myself.
Sure sure I've seen people post their Buoyant Armiger achievement, a few pages in zone and seen them in guild stores, but they can't be real.
It was easier getting the Ra Gada motif...

Oh they exist my main crafter sheet
The drop rate seems to be around 100 - 200 chests if you have the Treasure Hunter from The Shadow constellation. There are around 150 chests in Vvardenfell, not counting the ones in dungeons and trials.
For an overly optimistic calculation, let's say that the chance to get a motif from a treasure chest is 1 in 100, the average chest re-spawn time is 5 minutes, and all the treasure chests are constantly being tracked by the players -in other words they are opened the moment they spawn-, it will yield (24 x 60 minutes) / (5 minutes) * (150 chests) / (100 chests) = 432 motifs a day.
When I am farming chests, I usually find one in every two chests I check during the day and find around four chests in every five chests at midnight. We can say that around one third of the chests are constantly being tracked during the crowded time and one in five chests are being tracked while most players are asleep, so we can say that one in three chests are being constantly tracked in average, which lowers our result from 432 to 151 motifs a day or roughly 10 players with full chapters a day. So if you have a hardcore crafting guild with 300 members, you all might have the full chapters in a month.
PS: If you want an addon to track these chests and never heard of HarvestMap before or how good it is for tracking these chests - or think HarvestMap is not buggy enough for your taste - I've written an addon that just tracks the Vvardenfell chests. As the author though, I can tell you that I only found two motifs so far, so there's your motivation!
