Wonderful.. an expose telling me I am spending my money foolishly.. playing a video game.
FYI, btw.. only shareholders invest. Players pay money to rent the game and spend time and RL cash to do things and pay for stuff in the game, but it is never something they invest in.

Hey, its not just kids that own XBoxes you know
I'm a parent of 3 teenagers, 44 years old, and yet I play on XBox, and I am far from the only one. ESO on XBox has a very high proportion of older adults. The average age is 30-35.

I hate to be "that guy", but this is pretty much stated in the Terms of Service nearly verbatim in most (if not all) online games; especially MMORPG's.

Your type are the biggest victims to ZOS lmao
Acting cool and tough on the forums but you probably bought 30 crown crates to get 0 or 1 mount
You just don't like people reminding you of reality

You could always come and play on the EU server. We NEED more players, PvP is almost entirely dead, XBox EU is leeching players at a rate of knots. Theres still a fair few players around, but those that do hang around are all doing BG's now. If you go into the alliance zones its just full of grinding trains trying to get the best gear and level up quickly solely so they can do BG's and Trials.
XBox EU needs more players. Its so quiet sometimes......
@mb10 again with the compliments, whose acting cool and tough? im pointing out an issue, why so hostile? And can you relate to the issue? do you play on xbox? if not then why bother.
@Bouldercleave You're taking this to seriously. And who knows maybe i am a lawyer But really if you read what im saying im just pointing certain things out. I never said anything about anyone suing zos or wanting to sue zos, thats what uniformed people say. Basically im saying they treat people poorly especially when it comes to console, especially with customer service, and it can happen to anyone.

They do not pay to own it. This is why I held back on housing. To me monthly subs are safe because it encompasses more than one aspect, so if something doesn't work, I can just move on to something else. The same cannot be said for paying for one aspect. If it doesn't work then you just simply got screwed. Additionally, this is not an investment. An investment would indicate that you will have some kind of return on your invested time and money. All we get in return is entertainment because as I said earlier, we cannot own the content.
1. the terms of service are common for a lot of products: you dont like it? dont buy it!
2. the reviews you linked are all bad ones, because hardly anyone will post a good review these days
Be glad it isnt as bad as owning a boat in my country. Example: a simple screw-box will cost 1 euro normally (for example) but put a boat in front of it, aka boat-screw, its suddenly 3 euro's. We are all getting scammed at some point. And you know the true fact? We want to!
