But Yeah templar can do some great dmg in pvp the key is potl and using la for the extra pen and crit. You can go melee with jabbs like braidas or if you go a bit range i think @DeHei playstyle is to recommend i lost 2 fights va him 1v1 in a bg on My templar.

    I want to test a similar build just for zergs, 1vs1 in meleerange or against staminaplayer you are chanceless with that, but on range looks really fun :#

    Actually its situational. Against HA stamina builds its definitely hard 1v1/melee range, however if its medium, you can effectively burst with just 2x javelins->radiant, or just simply stall for a min and use Soul Assault for free AP.

    There is only like a total of 5 medium stamina players on PC-NA (AD&EP) that actually know-how and counter Soul Assault. From all the rest i get free AP, and i attack everyone and anyone... anywhere and in any situation.

    I also recently looked at my K/D/KB stats and 75% of whatever i touch ends up being my kill. lawl.

    I made a similar build back in DB just for lols. I had minor berserk + alchemist + damage enchant + empower into a dark flare+radiant. It's pretty fun as most people don't expect dark flare to have that much damage.

    I thought about alchemist also but the fact of it working only 20 seconds just denied me.

    I've already had 22k flares, i assume with alchemist you can get like 25k or so on similar targets

    Dark flare is incredibly powerful. No one knows how to build for it though. Its not the easiest build to 1v1 or 1vX with. But like OP stated most players even in duels dont know how to counter whats happening.

    Nice to be quoted in a thread. ;) Still don't you just prove my point? You stand on walls or kill people on sieges/horses? I want duels/ 1vx or atleast some bg fights.

    That said I did play something like this in DB or thieves guild and you do it 10 times better.

    that's a really sick combo with the dark flare, javelin into beam. It's a magplar ganker.

    I don't even need to watch to know what it's gonna be. And really templar is one of the best gankers. Empower into dark flare, javelin, beam is still probably the highest burst combo you can use.
    Just not practical most the time but even then I've used it in duels.

    You can gank with a stamina proc blade with more ease, however, when you gank with a Templar, you gank with style!

    Since no monster helmet set benefits this kind of build (as far as I know at least) I would guess some combo Willpower and Clever Alchemist :)

    Spinners is more damage than alch on targets without shields/that aren't being over penetrated. Since this is a single target gank build and not an aoe bomb build, spinners should outperform alch. The reason bombers don't use alch is because 1 group shield stops your bomb. When he's executing his burst properly the opponent doesn't have proper time to react so the biggest flaw with spinners goes out the window.
    5 spinners (1 jewel 2 body+DW) 5 alch (3body+Snb back bar) 2 willpower 2 slime is probably BiS for damage on a magplar ganker

    how come in your videos i dont see poeple "dodge dodge dodge" when you cast flare from stealth? Do you have an Anti Miat addon?

    Nobody want to see that.. a video where he needs 1min to successful hit 1 guy, who allways dodge his attacks...

    Go to cyrodiil and try same.. you will see that experienced guys dont will go down, like in the video.

    Good to see this build revived (obviously with new gear). There was an AD templar that used to do this in the Sej-bridge-Alessia corridor a year or two ago.

    some guys tested it allready. I dont like to play it, because its maximal usable in big fights. Solo this build isnt a option or just for ganking.
