Restart, then get an error 11 (I think) when I try to launch. Then I go to the support site here and follow the instructions to repair (including moving the file it talks about). That has fixed it, though I have to 'reeducate' the game on what server I want and sign my life away to agree to all their legal agreements.
One thing I noticed somewhere in the troubleshooting stuff about failing the updates was to start the launcher as administrator. Next week, I think I'll try that and see if the update does any better.
I've been playing every day for nearly a year on the same PC and nothing has changed except the game aborting its updates the last two weeks. Since I've not changed anything on my end, I suspect something is going on on the game's end.
Sorry couldn't help more but at least there is more than one of us with similar problems - again indicating the problem is on the game end.

The patch loaded half way and gave me the same 1005 error as for the two previous weekly patches when I did not run it as admin. Thing is, 'run as admin' is the troubleshooting solution for 1005 - but it didn't help me.
I'm sure if I try to launch the game now I will get the same error 11 I've gotten the last two weeks. I will then follow the tedious file swapping and repair procedures for error 11 which will fix. While I'm grateful that I can somehow get my game running, I'm not happy that I have to repair it every single patch.
