Now I have Ruin Gaming to thank for ROFL-Stomping Vivec with their 100 man groups showing up to every single small cross swords that pop up on the map.
I sincerely apologize for AD.
If it makes you guys feel any better, I spend a lot of time blasting them in chat telling them to go back to WoW where they basically did the same thing to World PVP.
So their entire raid wiped to a group a quarter their size in WoW too? GG
This. I get it though. When their players have the skill of about 1/8 a normal player....I get why they roll around in a ball of 100.
Also, anyone bored can do a WoW forum search I am fairly certain Ruin got a bunch of 3 day bans in WoW for intentionally lagging out the server during the launch day of an expac. It may have been Dreanor (I quit around then) but it was a quest NPC on a boat and their entire guild would just sit there spamming AOEs to lag everyone out and to kill all opposing factions that logged into that area.
The point is, there is a clear difference between a guild having fun their own way, and a guild that intentionally takes advantage of unintended mechanics (in ESO's case, the poor performance in Cyro) to grief other players. They legit did stuff in WoW to lag people out of the game. That's how they win.

Have you tried leading a PUG and helping spread fights out across the map?
This is what Telel has been asking all the zone generals to do ever since the Griffs declared that any group lead by a humble khajiit was a zerg. Even if that group was just a single khajiit in size.
Especially sinde the Dumbminion never has more than a couple of group leaders at any point. Well, none trying to win anyways.
For added fun the usual answers to that question involve words this one can't use here or the zone general in question running off to hide in a red flavored zerg.
I'm not interested in Doing anything I demand of others, sorry. I have zero interest in Trying to win in PVP. I admit it. I like the large open world and the "freedom" it provides me to tell others what to do while refusing to help.

This one has fixed. And without any charges for large amounts of moon sugar candies left in your name.
You're welcome.

So they got banned for creating lag a year ago in another MMO . Sounds tame when you put into perspective how many people here were banned for cheat engine they used for years before that guy named with a Z exposed everybody . Cheat engine , Hist bark exploit , TBS exploit and yes we had people here trying to create lag . People that have shown zero respect for the games integrity and trying still to this day to tell other people how to play and don't Zerg even after they Zerg .
Do you understand now why this should just be avoided ? Cheaters in ESO and scumbag liars that deny everything should have no say in how people play . They accept those people back from bans all the time into their ranks . I don't know ruin gaming personally but I do know our history in ESO like the back of my hand .

I don't know what you are implying (are you calling me a cheater and a scumbag liar?), but I certainly did not support or defend ANY of the cheat engine users back then or today.

When the cross swords pop up in an area of the map irrelevant to the objectives there is no reason to show with a mass force for the 1 or 2 solo players looking for small scale.
Malamar1229 wrote: »Telel i used to be DC and despite being a solo player for the most part, I have a long history of supporting AvA (fundamental this game was built upon), and discouraging the implementation of battlegrounds when that was just a debate. I also dont think its very fun when I am fighting someone and my skills are on a delay so i prefer quieter, less populated atea of the map.
However, I think it is unhealthy when an overwhelming force goes to extremes just for the sake of winning. I regularly yelled at EG for gate camping, just as i regularly yell at ruin.
