Viper weapon choice. 2 daggers or 1 dagger 1 mace sharpened

I'm unsure which of these combos is best to gold out for pvp. Haven't really played a nightblade ever but the recent campaign changes made farming imperial city pointless and ganking much more profitable. Would like some opinions from experienced players. Thanks!

I like daggers personally. Style points.

I also prefer them honestly. The mace throws off the assassin vibe im going for aesthetically. I'm just curious if it would make enough of a difference to be worth it especially because of how rare sharpened viper weapons are as non unique drops. Would be a shame for it to go to waste.

If you want BiS you go double axes. Don't ask why, just go and proc the bleed and watch people not be able to cope with it. It's cancerous, but not enough people know about it while the people who do are abusing it in duels and stuff. I didn't think much of it until @Ragnaroek93 told me about a dueler in EU who has been a top dueler using cancer/cheese setups recently, and his latest setup is abusing the axe bleed on his DW NB. I tested it last night and almost cried (with laughter ofc) at how each tick is hitting harder than proc sets.

If you want well rounded in terms of stats, maces aren't worth it anymore. Still in a heavy meta but A LOT more people use medium/light now, which mace won't work well on. I'd go dagger/sword or axe/sword personally but it's just preference.

You have to have one axe. The bleed is far too strong. Otherwise either a sword or dagger with it.

This on always end up with axes but daggers are preferred . It is vipers however and it could be two silly straws and would still result in decent damage .

Dagger/Dagger is more bursty than Dagger/Axe, really your preference.

u cant double 2 knife of shadows so anyway u must find another sharpened 1h viper and its random
so dont care about wep type, find any sharpened or precise (put 30+points to piercing) 1h and go killkillkill

Double swords if you run a very bursty build. 1 axe 1 sword for more sustained dmg. Daggers if something in your build relies alot on crits.

In my testing, double axes did not provide the expected 16% proc rate, but more like 10-11%.

But wasn't double axe bleed bugged or did they fix that already?

One axe and one sword is best for PvP. If double axes is bugged, then that would naturally be stronger, but should be fixed.

You can use the 2 knife of shadows I've done it. Regardless I actually got a sharpened dagger also that isn't a knife of shadows I'm using.
