On average how long does it take you to level a character from 1 to 50?

Average is not a great metric for this. I have 2 characters who listened to dialogue. I have 3 that clicked through. One of the 3 I left at a dolmen while working and clicked on the mouse when mobs appeared. It was my 5th max level character and I just wanted to try a DPS mag DK.

I have never use any XP boosts apart from event buffs. My mag DK was mostly leveled with event buffs. She has played 3 days, 22 hours. Maybe 3 hours of that was from daily crafting during the anniversary event, so over 3 days to max level. She was probably my fasted to level. She did the quests for the starter islands and most of the main quest and did some motif grinding during the TG anniversary event. Beyond that, she mostly camped out at a single Alik'r dolmen as part of a group.

I think earlier 4 max level characters took more time to level to 50/v1. Not so many XP events back then.

About three hours a day and while mainly playing my main, leveling another toon to 50 takes time.

I think my original character took about two years from the PC launch, but I run a lot of additional characters at various levels below 50. I have 170 CPs on the original character and he had just over 8 days played when he hit VR1. That's all on my main account, I've also been playing my second account for the last 2 years and don't yet have a level 50 on that account. I play a number of other games as well, and play all of them for the journey rather than the destination - as will be apparent from my leveling rate  ! Still, I never get burnt out and I never run out of content. I'm here for the long term, so why hurry?

Okay I know you wanna keep your secrets and what not, dont want anyone to steal a good grinding spot and what not. But come on, how the heck can you lvl from 1-50 in ONE day. Sounds crazy. o.o

I probably have a different playstyle than most it seems. I don't play to level up.

I play like I'm a character in the ESO world. I can spend an entire evening exploring, fishing a bit, maybe tracking down a skyshard, fiddling with inventory or crafting, and not even fight any mobs. Or maybe do a dolmen or two.

In fact, once I hit 50 and start the endless gear grind, I lose interest. Do the same dungeon 10 times, 50 times, 100 times?!? Never.

Me too! As will be evident from my post above.

One of the reason I play so many characters (21 in the case of ESO currently) is that I find the higher levels of MMOs thoroughly tedious and much prefer working my way slowly through the main part of a game.

Well if I do cata 6hrs if I do the sewers and I don't have the opposing faction killing a low level that is trying to level I'd say 8-10 hrs.

I generally take my time, smell the lady's smocks, etc... I am a casual player, very caught up in aesthetics and have an extreme case of wanderlust. So, it takes me a while.

Took forever. Not doing it again. I don't play that much daily, due to work/social life/working on making my own game.

Still haven't finished Craglorn, or the Dominion Hero achievement, Let alone Vvardenfell. Haven't done the majority of dungeons yet either - and am partway through IC (I got to the arena district where you have to kill everything in the arena and I kept dying :-( ).

Moving into a flat by myself soon though... so maybe i'll play more

averages now around 3 to 4 months...

gonna go ahead and use training traits on my gear this time and maybe focus more on public dungeons and some quests (usually i just leave them in cyrodiil to fight) ...

I'd like to get it down to about 2 months or so...

I have no trouble believing it actually.. All those zombies dying constantly all around with xp bonuses from gears and everything else, 1 day is definitely doable. I used to be a power player so my mind already worked out how it would be done long ago. I just chose to enjoy the environment and just play the game instead.
