On average how long does it take you to level a character from 1 to 50?

Inclusive of both free & busy days and based on your best estimate.

For example it's been about 7 weeks since I started this game and I have leveled three lvl 50's since then. Therefore it could be said that it took me about 2.3 weeks per lvl 50 character. However I also have one lvl 27 and one early 30 level characters, and if I factor those in perhaps I could argue that it takes me on average 2 weeks to level a character from 1 to 50 instead.

Still voting for 2~3 weeks because I took three personal days during that time. If I hadn't I'm sure I'd fit into this category.

My original character took about a month to get to 50? That was three years ago so I doubt that's very helpful.

Nowadays on a grind, it'd take me maybe eight to ten hours - but I don't really grind new characters.

My PVP'r, playing in Cyrodil since level 10 and intentionally avoiding experience, took about four months.

Can't really give a specific time, I have 6 at level 50 the shortest one took me 12 hours and the longest one took me a couple of months.

Depends if you grind or do quests or get distracted by other characters for a while.

I never try to make it a race. I just play that character through the early zones and whatever other activities I want. Eventually I get to lvl 50. I'd say it typically takes me 4-6 weeks, though of course I could do it much, much faster if that were my goal.

Because I don't run just one character thru but multiple even when I focus on leveling its not 100%

My routine is:
Run all t starter islands
Unlock mages, fighter, undaunted
Run AURIDON and Glenumbra
Run mages and fighters thru and main thru to Sai rescue.

At that point its usually 50-time.

I've done it in under 3 hours with full training gear + 150% XP scroll (Crown Crates) + 100% XP Event cake.

That being said, on new characters (that I intend on actually playing) I typically run around and grab all lorebooks and Skyshards first, then complete the main story, then go back and clear the faction story for the skill points, as I like all my characters to have 250+ skill points for both their build and crafting.

where do i get thos super potions? guild stores? i ve only ever leveld with normal xp potions at dolmen and pretty much get on average 2 lvls per hour

You can buy them at guild traders (they cost around 20-25k each). But dolmen grinding is super inefficient for levelling, so even with those expensive potions, it will still take you forever to do 1-50.

Find a grind spot instead (there are lots, so find one without other players around) or pay someone to run you through Skyreach. Both of these methods take 5-10 hours using just cheap psijic potions.

Grind spots are any places with lots of weak, fast-spawning mobs (so think zombies, dreughs, cultists, ogres, etc.).

Dolmen grinding is actually not the fastest method to level, just the lowest effort method.

I'll do a few to level a skill though, so many people killing, it's easy just to tag mobs to fill soul gems or level a new skill. For actual character levels though, dolmens take way too long.

Did this recently. Took me a week, with two nights off. During that week I also maxed out fighters guild, unlocked all overland skyshards(180), maxed out 2 armor skills and one weapon, and maxed provisioning/alchemy.

My record was 1,5 hours.

However, exp change in Morrowind make leveling up warden (note: I was leveling it as heal-support, in heavy and all skills + some damage to kill mobs) very painful and long, took me about 3 days of farm and lot's of exp potions. This is my 8th and last char of lvl 50, got tired of grinding and leveling. I don't even play majority of my alts

Depend on your objective. Is it to get to 50 asap,
get an functional character to level 50 that is skill points and leveled fighter / mage guild
Or is it to enjoy the quests and level as it come.

My sorcerer I leveled with quests back after launch, my templar who was level 20 then I came back I mostly grinded dolmen and public dungeons on an quests later.

Warden I did the morrowind quests and then main quest, delves, dolmens and collecting skyshards currently level 39.
Done some public dungeon grinding.
Got an healer setup so will probably run group dungeons with her, perhaps with Alkir dolmens for skill leveling.

Finish the entire DC zone and you should be close to 50. I've seen some folks do it under a day with the bonus xp from events where they would run dolmens all day.

the long part isn't getting the 1-50 for me- thats kind of okay actualy- i put on a podcast nd listen and go around in a loop at skyreach- the tedious part is getting the lorebooks- levelling all the undaunted- and getting maxed out on all my weapons. for my stam guys i like to level all 4 weapons before I'm combat ready and vet dungeon ready- and for magicka- i level four also- destro, resto, dual wield and sword and board. I'm on my 14th toon- across two accounts EU and NA- so now when i make a toon- i just try to make em as fast as possible so i can enjoy playing that class as i get bored playing any one class for long.

Remember when you could do: Mainquests, all guildquests (FG+MG), all public dungeons in your zone, all dwelves in your zone and boom lvl 50. Good old Days.
