UPDATE: Just tested this together with @OdinForge (big props for helping me test it). On his end animations look normal. Both Wrecking Blows are visible. It appears the animation onlY bug on players client.

Wait, how the hell were you able to fire off two uppercuts at nearly the same time? Aint it got a cast time of 1 second?

Also, question about your last clip, was that just two uppercuts or was there an executioner in there?

This is how all the guys like Kodi, Feng, Jules, Chief, etc play

I am not sure if it is intended or not but if you are not weaving like this you have no chance in pvp...

Don't know who they are, but this is my logic: If ZOS put a 1 second cast time on Uppercut, then I don't think a player is supposed to be able to have it hit twice, that quickly.

It is not just Uppercut. Same applies for any ability that has a cast time. Jabs for example will produce a similar macro slice.

Technically the cast time is still there. It still takes 2.0 seconds to get 2 Uppercuts off. The only thing is that the first Uppercut animation is cut.

    Do you have Combat Metrics?

Would be lovely to see the timeline on the casts for those. I suspect it would shed a lot more light, as I'm guessing that's bugged in a big way.

I can download it and make another cideo tonight when I get home from work.

What is interesting to note that I can carry this animation de-sync throughout the whole fight and the enemy never knows what is hitting them at all. I suspect it has to do with getting ahead of the animation cycle by inputting skills at a specific time and interval.

Yes, it absolutely does. I suggest finding a training dummy in housing and having a go at it. You just have to get the timing right and it does take some time to start "feeling" the flow of it.

What we need to all understand is that, especially in the Fengrush video, this is not something that is produced by lag but is something intentionally produced. It looks like lag and these guys play it off like lag but it isn't...

Lol the fengrush video you show here isn't intentional, most of the time macro slices happen unintentionally. Obviously it can be done intentionally, shown on the video you first posted. I don't know if I would go so far to say "thats what all streamers do and that's the only reason they're good".

As soon as the Crit Rush animation got stuck he knew that the skills he was queueing up would eventually go off because that is what happens when the Crit Rush animation does't get stuck, which is often the case. I just watched his stream last night running proc sets and still weaving like this one shotting fools left and right...

Also, I never said that this is the only reason they are good. A lot of practice, basic understanding of animation cancel, resource management, awareness of your surroundings, etc all play a role in it. However, there is a HUGE advantage to be gained weaving like this and the opponents don't even have a chance to react...

    Hi @FENGRUSH big fan :)

Sarcasm aside, can you deny though this is something you know of and use frequently? Not the actual video where the animation got bugged for a long time but in general gameplay? I don't personally think this is against the rules of the game as you can do it rather easily.

Hello Nightwish - this isnt something that is intentionally done. You get stuck in a gap closer animation. Havent seen it happen much or at all since morrowind, but maybe because Im only in BGs.

This now happening on Xbox one with DW. You can do LA-surprise attack-LA-surprise attack-LA- killer's blade and all you see is LA dmg and animation. Once you pause for a sec or bar swap you'll get the animation of last skill and all the damage at once including procs that happened during that whole sequence. BTW you can empty your stamina bar doing this. Tested on training dummy and could stack 5-8 surprise attacks.

That's likely not what you are thinking it is.

It's his client smoothing an animation on a charging player that he didn't have accurate positioning on. It happens regularly on stealthed players charging... but any case where your client doesn't have accurate position on a player (due to lag, on either end or fast moving players or that seam between sectors on a server) it will draw like that.

Reality is that player was more likely than not in range to charge on his screen.
