Wow, did this thread ever get butchered by pretend legal experts and keyboard warriors. To those spouting the nonsense about being self entitled and count yourself lucky you get a second base game free. It's not, stop pretending to know something. Your only bet here is contact microsoft as the sharing is a feature provided by platform and xbox live that you.......wait for it.............. pay for. Best of luck op, but too much lag for me. Let us know how you make out.

I thought sharing was against almost every ToS there is for online content?

ACCOUNT sharing is against the ToS (i.e. letting someone else play on your account while you're asleep to farm gold or whatever). Game sharing on different console accounts (provided that the consoles are in the same household) is a different thing entirely that is permitted by both Sony and Microsoft. I bought the digital version of ESO on my old PSN account. I ended up abandoning that account (aside: screw you, Sony, for not permitting PSN name changes) and started over on a new account on the same console. All game purchases (DLCs included) I made on my old account were available to me on the new account -- as they should be, because I freaking paid for them and simply wanted a different PSN ID. I fortunately didn't make any DLC purchases for ESO, as I had ESO plus from the get go on the old account. What was frustrating, though, was that when I purchased the DLC pack on my new account, I couldn't access it on my old account (where I had my max crafter), so I had to regrind ALL of that research on my new account just to be able to craft Julianos stuff. On the bright side, at least I wasn't going for TBS, or I'd STILL be waiting... I didn't care much about losing the crown store stuff I'd purchased on the old account, as stuff like that has always been account-bound on consoles.

Anyway, OP, I feel your pain. :/ And I'm sorry you're being called "entitled" by PC users who don't understand how game sharing works on consoles.

OP is actually right. it is sold as an expension pack so they can get more money out of it. but an expension pack SHOULD be able to be shared. DLC is account bound ok i get that but an expension not. but thats just money grabbing ZOS for ya

Of course it is not shareable. DLCs are not shareable. ESO+ is not shareable. Crown Store items are not shareable. Did you really thing the expansion would be shareable also.

    Ice Cold lol.

As this thread proves, the world "entitled" is used in the same manner as "P2W" is around here. Folk will shoehorn it in almost anywhere as long as they get to use it even if they have zero clue what they're talking about and the use of the word is irrelevant in the context of the discussion being had.

On Xbox one you can game share with those in your household. Not the same account, Jack wagons. I bought Eso, I can play on my account, while my wife plays on hers, and the kids on theirs, without having to shell out 4x the money for the same game. So If I can pay $60 for the base game and do this, I should be able to do the same with additional content after paying $40 for an "upgrade"

For the PC ***, well, you're just irrelevant to this conversation.

Well umm... welcome in real world I think ?

Looks like the pc people don't understand what seems to be installed where.

It appears that the OP has one Xbox. On that Xbox, there are several logins, and all logins have access to the games installed on the unit.

Very much like one laptop can have several logins, and all of them have access to the games installed on the hard drive.

There is where it diverges. On pc, each login can be treated as a separate adult, but on console allowances must be made to accommodate a parent login that has control over purchases and gives access to those purchases to a separate child login.

Imagine one Xbox in the house, and 3 kids who all play eso. The parent buys the base game one time, installs, and the 3 kids take turns playing on their own individual gamer tags (logins). Then morrowind arrives, and it appears that Zeni requires that parent to buy it 3 times - once for each kid - and it is still for only one Xbox in the house.

I don't think the pc plebes really understood what they were talking about.

Morrowind is the only game (game/expansion/dlc/WHATEVER) I have ever bought that is not available to share with others who use our PS4.

As has been explained patiently in numerous posts above, it is GAME sharing not account sharing. Even digital dlcs bought on the PS+ account are available for all who play on that ps4.

    But not Morrowind.

And PC users are forgetting that console players have to pay additional subscription just to play the game in the first place. (PS+ / Xbox Live).

    Excellent point.

Dunno what the ps cost is, but Xbox players shell out $60 per year just to play the base game. Then add eso+, etc.

Now if those dang pc players would just beta test the content better, for free that would be great.

    Hello everyone,

This post is to let you know that we've felt it necessary to put this thread down and remove the posts that necroed the thread, as it seemed to have died some time ago. At this time we'd like to try and keep Draugr threads from roaming around front page, pushing down newer and more lively threads.

    Thank you for understanding!
