Alot of 1vXers suck at BG's

A thing or 2 ive noticed from BGing is that (not all) but alot of 1vXers keep being horrifically bad at death match bgs. i keep seeing these insightful individuals throw themselves into a 1v4 against an organized Pre-made group only to die EVERY TIME. i can understand when a team is weak or has low hp and you have a window to 1vX successfully but COME ON. These Clever combatants are just getting wreckted over and over and over again. This is especially bad (yet very funny) when you are soloing queing and you dont have any really way to stop your teammates from going into full fodder mode. So if your a 1vXer and you solo que here are some things you can do to improve your kills/death ratio for the paragon acheivement (its not hard to get).
dont charge head to head into a full team alone unless a)they are lowbies or bads b)you have the sigil of power c) they are fighting another team and they all have low HP.
Final pro tip: use your common sense in combat! every death you get adds to the other teams score so play wisely, watch your resources and use executes(kill stealing is KEY)!

....and this right here is why I can't take BGs seriously, as currently scored. My best scores on magplar come from avoiding combat besides stealing kills with radiant and dropping the occasional destro ult.

Best tip would be to play sorc tbh, all other tips are moot.

doesn't matter if you "1 v x" or not u focus fire someone they will die quick unless they are a full tank and in that case they will eventually die anyways because no cp to carry the troll tanks. I was in a premade last night with some friends and when we were together and calling targets or calling out where to go for objectives it went very very well. If we did our own thing for a bit we would fall really behind and get rekt. Coordination more important than 1 v x in bgs

Proc sets are overperforming. Stamblade just uses them the best.

Also, the roll dodge buff affected them the most. Try catching a stamblade in a proper build with near 100% snare immunity.

This thread basically can be extended to say "zerg PvP is also group coordination. Why you die to us at that resource even though there wasn't an equal size team there, lulz."

It's casual PvP. Just enjoy it; too many people love to add labels lol.

I could always tell which "1vXers" were actually good and which were carried by gear or CP. No one has surprised me yet except for a few randoms whom I'd never seen before. It's always fun seeing new faces absolutely rocking it in PvP.

BGs are fun, right?

Indeed, there are a lot of LOS options but if you're actually playing for objective in CTF or Domination, their uses are very limited. Even in death match if all teams are somewhat working together everyone usually clumps up in the same space and LOS use is limited.

Myah, not really. If I play BGs solo I usually try and LoS as much as possible anyway. e.g. when you can't deliver a flag 'cus you don't have your own / when keeping 4 enemies busy around a pillar, so your group members can capture flags. It works fine tbh. And it's quite fun too.

I played some duo into BGs today, we ended up using some LoS to get us away from the mess in the middle and picked off targets on the side. (Or luring people through the lava just to cc them. Also fun).

You dont need any proc sets on Nb in BG. Class is dominant itself. Cheap ulti that can be used over and over , deals burst dmg applying major defle and increasing caster dmg by 20% for 6 sec ? That's overkill in small scale scenario which BG's are which totally replaces proc sets especially if You add the fact that nb also have the best class spammable ability which is supprise attack. Next ability is cloak which looks to be finally fixed to the point we can say it works as intended so allows Nb to just get out of fight restore health or stamina and return or teleport to shade and run away when his ass is burned or when You'll use any source of detection. On top of that we have fear that is the strongest CC in the game that makes other CC's look like a joke especially in no CP enviroment where You cant allow Yourself to spamm CC over and over until target finally not dodge or block it because that drains You out of resource not mentioning it AoE that doesnt even require to pointing it to enemie. Yes You can wear proc sets but lets makes things clear stam nb dont need them to dominate fights in BG. Stam nb is OP AF in BG.

well im not trying to be provoke anyone im just telling the truth. Truth be told for BG's to stay alive we need more competent players cause as it stands right now, at late prime time and late night, DC Streamers Run BG's atm.if this continues they are gonna kill the bgs because there is no ladder system. id like to see that change. anyways if your interested in 2's 3's and 4's whisper PuG Shell Shock. Priority seating for Pugs.

P.S. there was a BG i missed where @jules and @dutchessx wreckted a BG 2v4v4.@jules if you have that footage please post it, i will forever be in your debt, @jules.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: (HAND HOLD STRAT): if you que with your four man group, in the same instance or simply close by, you get a MUCH FASTER QUE.(only useful for four man BG que).
