Time to get over it lol ZOS updated the plan so that any dlc not in the crown store is not covered by the eso+ membership. Next year around this time will be another "chapter" that is not covered by the sub.

My main reason for subbing is to get the dlc I pay monthly fee to support the game I should get the dlc.
I pay crowns bought with real money I should be able to buy what i the dlc.
My crowns are pretty much worthless now.
Like I said I will prob sell out the 50 bucks because it think ESO is the MMO out there right now BUT I DO FEEL I am being screwed over by marketing.
Although prob in a year or so Morrowind will probably put on the crown store just like the imperial up grade but by then Zmax with have my money.
We are all in the same boat that has shelled out money. I think it was around $100 au that I spent on the the digital collectors edition and will do so again next year. This is the only time have to do so all the rest will be "free" in the eso+ plan and yes I am an eso+ member too

If you think you're upset about this now, just wait...

I can't confirm this, but I suspect, and very much expect, that any and all "free" DLC that come out following a "Chapter" release will require the purchase of said Chapter in order to get the full experience out of it.

Like I've said elsewhere, people are complaining about locked doors in Morrowind; I'm not too worried about it because I'm willing to bet an upcoming DLC will unlock some of them. Anyone who hasn't purchased Morrowind won't benefit from that at all. Chapters are almost certainly going to become pay-walls.

I personally have no beef with this because I love Elder Scrolls and have some disposable income; but I expect a number of folk will be displeased in the near future.

I hope that's not the case but also why I mentioned the other comment about what if eso plus changed how some dlc features worked and made them like the crafting bag

It, almost, inevitably has to be the case.

I am pissed off about the way they are marketing Morrowind!
First it's not part of plus like every other expansion they put out.

You'd have hated Everquest! What was it... 14 expansions? There were so many I've forgotten, and none were free even when the game was a subscription game

And we will get the same bajillion forumthreads all whining about the fact, before, during and after....oh the joy :D

It's just a Cash GRAB and marketing is seeing if they can get away with it

You seem to love the term "Cash Grab". It's a great talking point to soapbox from, but what business isn't a Cash Grab?

I don't know what you do for a living, but I doubt that you would be willing to do it for free.

I don't expect it for free I pay a sub...or willing to spend crowns on it....What I am pissed about is they are pretty well forcing me to pay for the game again...50 bucks cash....while I spent 100s already on this game it make me feel like I an being ripped off!
I wont quit YET but make me feel being screwed over by Zmax and increase my dissatisfaction level with the company.

Only white knights defend this kind of crap, they lied, everyone knows it, ZOS knows it, no one cares and it will happen again and again. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

ESO PLUS = ACCESS TO ALL DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT

Nope they changed it....even after saying ESO Plus would mean you never have to pay extra again for content....

Complete BS....like everything that comes out of ZOS's mouth.

Everything in the Crown Store is downloadable content too, are you saying subs should get all that for free as well? All the costumes, and houses, and motifs, and consumables...

So... why is nobody talking boycotts? Possibly because, despite the crap Zenimax tries to pull, we still love Tamriel and don't want to give it up. Let's just pray they don't find a way of making the single-player games subscription-based- they have the money, talent and technology to do just that.

Let us also pray that they don't require all of us to play ESO on Steam/Bethesda.net. <> Because in addition to money, corporations love having control.

I'm not buying any more crowns, and I'm going to try and make my way across Tamriel before shelling out $40-60 for a ticket to Vvardenfell, because, frankly, this expansion is not Morrowind and probably won't even include Jeremy Soule's music. I want to support him too.

No it wouldn't... They've got a mount up there that costs multiple months allowance, not to mentioned homes, and the fact that they ad new stuff all the time. You'd never catch up.

ZOS literally spent months stating that this was an expansion and not crown store bought and y'all still crying.
What's better it that ZOS every other week puts up mounts and skins for the price of a new game ever other week and that's fine.
But they finally make a product actually worth $40 and people are making a stand for corporate greed.
Where was this outrage for ICP expansion? Where for months the best gear in the game was behind a paywall?

They are slowly adding fluff to ESO+ (craft bag, double bank) so that it will not sting as bad when they remove DLC access entirely from it. They want you to NEED those perks so that you are okay with losing the DLC. Don't let it happen.

I don't think most of this, especially the bolded part, would hold up if challenged in a court of law, especially in Europe. Not sure, though, since I am not a lawyer.

I am pissed off about the way they are marketing Morrowind!
First it's not part of plus like every other expansion they put out.
I can live with the cash grab but really pisses me off is that you can't buy it with Crowns!
Expansions are the only thing worth buying in the crown store.
If they get away with this every expatiation will require you to pay cash for.
Then main reason I pay plus every month is to get the dlc and eventual buy it with crowns!

Yeah, it's a DLC but they can call it Expansion and basically take it away from subscribers. Plus they can market it as new-ish (complete edition?) to potential new buyers.

Cash grab?? This game has been around for what, 2 to 3 years now, and this is the first expansion they release since then...any other popular MMO would have had a handful out by now...This isnt a cash grab in the slightest
