I am Pissed off about morrowind not part of plus!

I am pissed off about the way they are marketing Morrowind!
First it's not part of plus like every other expansion they put out.
I can live with the cash grab but really pisses me off is that you can't buy it with Crowns!
Expansions are the only thing worth buying in the crown store.
If they get away with this every expatiation will require you to pay cash for.
Then main reason I pay plus every month is to get the dlc and eventual buy it with crowns!

You might want to research the announcement in which they explained the reasoning for this and their future plans which are basically for 1 paid-for chapter and 3 standard DLCs (included in sub and available with crowns for non-subbers as before) per annum.

I'm not attempting to justify it, just pointing out that this issue was fully aired a good while ago and dealt with by ZOS at the time.

Just stop paying for eso plus for 90 -180 days.

Technically it's all real money and if you did so from the announcement it would be less than what you may have spent for crowns and a sub for that whole time

You are ESO+ member to benefit from DLCs and material bag.

Morrowind they considered as EXPANSION (Exclueded DLC) where you have to pay extra.

Zenimax Online Studios can change their marketing whenever they feel to do so. Its their game and their server you play on.

This is written down in their Terms of Service and Code of Conduct. If you have troubles buying this expansion feel free to contact our support team via Ticket.

As this Thread doesn't seem to have anything to discuss, we're forced to hang the lock at this point.

And there explanation is even dumber just call it an Expansion and all of a sudden it's not technically a DLC so it's not covered by ESO plus even tho unless you bought a physical disk of ESO: Morrowind it's still a DLC will not buy this cash grab of a DLC also compared to other Expansions in other popular MMOs Morrowind is super small It's hardly an expansion.

This announcement wasn't made when I paid my sub fee. If they change things in a way that reduces ESO+ features, they should not be able to do so within a sub window. Ie, announce further ahead so currently subbed players can unsub and not feel they paid for something their not getting. It's good practice, as most will see this a fair, and oddly, remained subbed.

Not only will doing things the way they are lose them subs, it'll also lose them expansion sales. Future changes like this need a longer lead in time.

Like I said while I think it should be included in plus like everything else was I would not mind too much if I could pay with crowns.
I bought all the other dlc with crowns and have been accumulating them since there is nothing really worth buying in the store.
Crowns are their virtual money and should be able to use it for any content

I really don't mind paying for a sub the bag..ect are worth it.
But calling Morrowind an expansion an not dlc and not being able to pay for it with crowns I already bought just makes me pissed!

If you are just finding out I imagine it's just as frustrating as when we got the news . They've changed to a Chapter update . It's labeled different then DLC and from what we were told , new content inside there will be available through plus after purchase . So probably save those crowns for whatever that will be .

Actually, yeah, this is solid advice.

If the price point for Morrowind bugs you, just buy it, unsub, play through it (since you don't need the sub since you bought it), save the money you spent, break even.

Seriously on my side i'm way happy, but i i wouldn't be happy, i would simply stop playing and not the need to let a warning call so people try to have some pity, you're right not to like it or whatever, has it's your right to just don't keep playing if things aren't the way YOU want it, sorry for you man if you're not happy with it.

Time to get over it lol ZOS updated the plan so that any dlc not in the crown store is not covered by the eso+ membership. Next year around this time will be another "chapter" that is not covered by the sub.

I can't confirm this, but I suspect, and very much expect, that any and all "free" DLC that come out following a "Chapter" release will require the purchase of said Chapter in order to get the full experience out of it.

Like I've said elsewhere, people are complaining about locked doors in Morrowind; I'm not too worried about it because I'm willing to bet an upcoming DLC will unlock some of them. Anyone who hasn't purchased Morrowind won't benefit from that at all. Chapters are almost certainly going to become pay-walls.

I personally have no beef with this because I love Elder Scrolls and have some disposable income; but I expect a number of folk will be displeased in the near future.

My main reason for subbing is to get the dlc I pay monthly fee to support the game I should get the dlc.
I pay crowns bought with real money I should be able to buy what i the dlc.
My crowns are pretty much worthless now.
Like I said I will prob sell out the 50 bucks because it think ESO is the MMO out there right now BUT I DO FEEL I am being screwed over by marketing.
Although prob in a year or so Morrowind will probably put on the crown store just like the imperial up grade but by then Zmax with have my money.

I hope that's not the case but also why I mentioned the other comment about what if eso plus changed how some dlc features worked and made them like the crafting bag
