I know it's 30 million AP business but I really want to know how long IRL time did it take to obtain that much AP.

AP is so easy to get these days.

But not all achievements should be. Just play the game and enjoy it, and let the ranks happen as they may. You'll get it much faster now than in the past with how they've increase AP gains over the last year.

Yup, I think it was spring of 2016-ish when they both increased AP gains and dropped the amount of AP needed for ranks, and had AP gain boost event. I was unable to play and in one week went from a 2-3 rank lead on everyone in my PVE guild to middle of the pack. What took me more than six months of play most gained in a week or two, very disappointing.

Lol it took me almost 2 years but i play solo or duel, and i don't ap farm. I also take breaks when I'm tired of the game. I figure you could probably get it in like a year just playing regularly, and sooner if you AP farm

I got legate this year(or maybe it was late last year.. I don't rmember) and I've been PvPing semi regularly, on and off, since the game launched.

30mil AP, you say?

I think it's okay to assume 50k AP/h if you:
1) are not terrible
2) actively seek decent AP per hour
3) are not super efficient or part of a very successful group, because you'd make more that way.

If you're not experienced, you'll certainly start with lower averages but higher towards the end, when you're more experienced.

that's 20h per million, i.e. 600h of playtime (spent actively farming AP and somewhat successfully, there are map constellation, where I just cannot manage to get decent AP, and I can easily get more than 50/h these days).

Some people get 600h within a few months, others take several years. In general, it has become a LOT easier than in the past. AP for kills were double, low pop bonus is significant, AP buffs have been introduced, AP for capture ticks has been increased by about an order of magnitude, quests give a bit more exp, etc.

Still a LOT of time spent playing the game.

Me personally, this is why I would like my alliance rank account wide, I like switching toons a lot.

Don't tell anyone, but my Magblade was my first toon and I love her dearly, I just don't want everyone to know I also have a Magblade since they're secretly god like in PvP but you already knew that.

your forum cloaks are just as broken here as in game

Its so much easier for casuals to get AP now that they've upped the amounts resource and keep takes give. It's still going to take you a long time though - even if you're in a half way decent pvp guild, so just sit back and enjoy the journey as the destination can seem like a long way away. After a certain time ranks take long enough to be a pleasant surprise when you get the big - you've gained one skill point message during a fight.
