In PvE, it's a niche set that might help avoid a big hit on occasion but relying on RNG isn't a great strategy in general, much less so when lives are on the line.

In PvP, it has its moments but you'd be hard pressed to give up Transmutation once you get used to it being constantly on and since it's still ill advised to wear light armor in PvP, I'm going to stick with Transmutation as my PvP heal set.

Overall, it's an alright-ish set but nothing to right home about.

Stannum

Usually not, as it proc only on non-zero healing with quite low % and even then it give bonus for 6s that has onle 15% chance to happen. So in 99,9% of time it's useless.

NightbladeMechanics

It used to be a somewhat strong PvP healer set. I got a lucky sharpened fire staff of that set in my first few CoS runs a long time ago and ran it front bar with back bar Transmutation on mageblade. The group utility is nice.

Major Evasion has since been nerfed, and now Wizard's Riposte is a thing.

When shadows of the hist came out I used gossamer on my healer with spc and maelstrom destro/resto just for vet dungeons mind you. It's a fun gimmick thing, also capped at 6 players I believe.

you cant dodge aoe in trials anyways. you cant dodge onehit mechanics with evasion in Trials.
Well you get a Chance, to proc a Chance to dodge a ... yeah ... what exactly do you want to dodge?

PVE: no thy.
