I don't know. Playstyle just doesn't feel very natural, and the combat is a bear to get used to.

Not to mention that playing without the Animal Companions ultimate really is unbearable.
Right, @Cloudless , and is it truly good for all content? Seems like such a netch build?

Hm, lotus test it some more before we give any final verdict.
    @Cloudless , I still don't know.

A couple of the animal companion skills bug me.

Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

Did not live up to my expectations
People are complaining about their dps but I'm having more issue with their playstyle and feel.

Their powers feel kinda awkward and oddly timed to me and throwing birds & bugs at people doesn't feel as badass as spitting fire in a mofos face, chucking holy lances through their chest, jumping out of the shadows to drive a dagger into their neck, or shoving a fistful of lighting up their Oblivion portal.
Even if you take the stance of "they're druids" they're kinda meh. Replace the bear ult with one that turns me into a werebear (+ that would mean you wouldn't have to keep it on both bars), make the shalk & cliffracer an actual temporary summon that'll attack whoever I sic them on and switch when he dies (a la the current Demononlogy Warlock's hounds in WoW), rework the ice tree 3/4 of the abilities are cloaks come on, I dunno man.

3 new classes. 3 new spellcasters. Zenimax has forgotten how to make melee classes.

Wardens lived up to my expectations ...I found my new main
i don't think it's my new main, but it did live up to my expectations of being a fun to play class that's feels different and unique compared to other classes

This 3 sec and 6 sec wait for abilities is starting to get on my nerves.

Thats silly, i love that. You can stack abilities and make them hit all at once for one crazy burst. At least thats how i do it in pvp and let me tell you no one expects it... at least not for now.

I made a Dunmer magicka warden & it was a nice change of pace from playing with the other 4 (or 8 if you count the stam/mag divide) classes. It's cool to use new skills & animations. I've only levelled to lvl16 killing overland mobs in Vvardenfell so I don't really have a good idea of how potent the class is but I feel like there could be some good burst skill combos to be had for PVP.

I really need to level more & get all the skills... but I also need to do the horse training, skyshards, lorebooks, undaunted, etc... & when I think of how much playtime that is going to consume... I load up my PVP sorc & get back into the action!

The bear is the most unreliable ultimate ever. There's no way this thing should have to be double barred. Maybe remove his finisher and make him just additional damage and let us single bar him or something..Half the time I'm pveing I can go 15 minutes before i even notice i didnt resummon him. In my opinion he offers nothing that another ultimate cannot do 1000 times better.

Aestetically pleasing, but performance is meh.
For trials they are useless, for casual 4-mans everything works, so you can do without them.

Never played warden but they seem like a strong class and the are interesting to fight against. The ones that know what they are doing seem to be very tanky and have strong heals as well as decent damage. The self heals with the tree even seem a bit Op.

I love it; but honestly having played since beta, new classes have been long over due. I'd honestly like to see another 1 or 2 classes over the next 24 months. It really adds to the nuance of the game.

well i think it would be better to add skill lines that every class can use such as necromancy (pets for everyone); melee magicka weapon line; spears (ranged + melee in 1 weapon line); and of course a bard's college dlc with the respective skill line ^^

I just don't get why they had to screw over stamina Warden so badly. No effects on Cutting Dive or Wild Guardian, no stam morph for Swarm, and worst of all, they removed the 6% physical damage bonus passive.

    Really disappointed.

100% true, i really don't see the reason for these changes as other classes have it (and more - like sorc)

I like my warden, but I may have done things differently from others.

The Animal Companion line is nice but I probably won't use it once I level it up. I don't have the fascination with bears that ZOS design team has. Maybe if other animals or animal skins became availabe ... a wolf or whatever, I might be more interested.

I like the ice elements and it's that skill and the healing that I've been focusing on. The warden has some nice DoTs so I've been dropping two/three DoTs and just dual wielding everything to death. I've set up my warden like my templar/nightblade: sustainable, solo play.

It's probably not the best DPS or even the best healer, but that's not how I play.

dual wielding and ice? hybrid? magicka with infused weapons just or?

I vote 1 and 2. Probably will be my main for a while, as I love the playstyle, but a few things need some work. Particularly the teleport. It's inferior to chains in almost every way.

they try to hard to be everything and fall short.
healing in-particular is bad in that you have to wait for the heals to kick in most of the time, morphs are pretty lack luster.

that 3rd ability the vine shield one? wtf is that? i'v tried and tried again but i cant see it being useful on anything but a tank and guess what? you cant choose who it hits. needs a complete rework tbh

the AoE targeted flower zone either needs to "pop" faster (1.5 sec faster?) or needs to give a built in HoT ontop of it (WITH the synergy so they stack) otherwise theres no reason slowing it over springs.

the tree ulti thing is funky but tbh feel like it needs a slight aggressive component to make it stand out over the resto ulti, maybe give it a 30% slow?

that resource giving passive... needs to be clearer, is it for every person healed? every cast?

the first skill is probably the only good standing out one, and tbh i wish they gave it a minor heal over time ontop of the base skill just so it doesnt need to be spammed as hard
PLEASE REPLY TO ME WITH @dsalter otherwise i'm likely to miss the reply if its not my own thread
