✭✭✭✭✭Im not Asian, but I do live in SE Asia and I play on the NA server. Its fine for PvE, for PvP its pretty bad expect to lose to lag.5 -

That said, us aussies would vote for an asia server since we have no chance of an Australian server.
You sort of get used to the lag, just have to think 0.3 seconds into the future.It makes us better players because we are always planning ahead while they are always worried about whats happened in the past.

Been playing for two years from Japan. PVE is fine, although VMA was a pain in the ass with the lag.
PVP got really frustrating because you're always a step or two behind.
I finished all the end game in PVE and it was a good ride, but I can't really PVP without getting frustrated by the performance issues playing from so far away.
Since I have nothing left to do and was only hanging around for pvp, I deleted my game yesterday.
I'm still interested in the game and I might move to the USA next year so I'll come back then. But yeah, if PVP is what you want, you'll always struggle to be competitive connecting to Texas from Oceana.

Sadly kind of true.
We are so used to anticipate issues and lag that when playing on normal connection it really becomes much easier. From China it is more like 0.5s anticipation. Can be troubling for vet raids or vma but well, we get used to it.
Id be happy if they could manage to improve overall lag for asia located players on existing servers

✭✭✭✭✭I believe it's a bit of a mix which servers are used.
When I was in a PvP alliance on PC EU we had a number of players from across Asia, however I know many Asian players also play NA servers as they're located closer.

EnglishTea123✭✭✭Yeah. Lag is pretty darn bad in PvP. Nobody believes you though, when you tell them that you couldn't weapon swap or that your game froze briefly. They just say that you're making a noob excuse xD but people who play from Asia know what I'm talking about lmao
I'd say most Asian players are on PC NA, since there are Japanese, Korean, and Chinese guilds. And you'll see a lot of players with Japanese, Korean, and Chinese names too, occasionally Indian names.

Use ping booster at your own risk. I tried before it stable the ping at 260-280.0 -

Blud✭✭✭✭✭Im from India and want to knw which server is good, since there is no Asia server.
I'm playing from Seoul on the NA server. Ping is usually about 240-260. Okay for pve, but bad for pvp. I've tried the EU server and found the ping from 400-600.
It's super annoying when gathering to get to a node first and see someone else come after you and still manage to harvest in front of you.
From India, I don't know which server will be best but you can try to test it to both.

As a Serverowner for a game i can only say that i autokick everybody with a Ping over 250.

I've played on NA from Florida and from Japan. It's so noticably bad playing from Aisa compared. I can't play DPS in PVP in Asia because you're just too vulnerable with the delayed reaction time.
I wish I'd never known how good it can be playing close to the NA servers lol.
Have you played on NA from India also? I'd give EU a shot if it was going to improve my chances of enjoying PVP again, but I always assumed NA would be better (Playing from Asia) because of the cable routes.Edited by Volrion on May 28, 2017 5:31AM0
