Time to take out my frustration here. I've been trying to download ESO Morrowind for 2 days now. Is anyone else getting slow speeds? I've tried downloading at home, and at work which we have a 100 Mbps connection and it's still moving like molasses..

    Mine is showing around 2.0 MB/s right now, but it's taken like almost an hour to get to 5%, is this normal?

    I live out in the country with about 1.5 mb/s max, so I'm defiantly not looking forward to doing this update when I come back to the game.

    Exit the download and restart it, that can speed things up, if there is capacity to spare.

    Also, make sure there are no background apps sucking up bandwidth, like spotify or anything that uses Internet running.

    And, don't forget, the first day or two after a major expansion downloads are slower. I downloaded the entire game in less than 2 hours Friday Night, but to took about an hour to download the patch to my gaming laptop and PC Monday AM just after the servers came up

    Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

    I was at 12mb/s and it only took maybe 20 minutes or so. You just have slow internetz

    Turn off your machine
    Reboot your router
    Turn back on your machine.
    Run Speedtest to see if your expected connection IS what you have for a connection.

    Sounds like your router is taking the route thru Japan and then Hungary. That should make it find a better route.

    That said, lots of people are downloading Update 14 and Morrowind right now, plus those who got corrupted installs and have to "Repair Game". Your case sounds extreme tho.

    Why don't I have 300+ skill points? Because you skipped content along the way.

    I checked the TCP connections and i'm getting 0% packet loss but the latency is over 200ms.. so I guess like everyone is saying, everyone and there mom is downloading this right now, ugh...

    It took 16 hours yesterday, started the download at noon, it finished at 4am this morning.

    Actually the download is consistently slow when the launcher app is not in the foreground. Which is a problem because you have the choice between not using the computer or waiting two days for a full install.
