This is that thread that comes after every major patch.

With the dusts settling after nerfs/buffs which class got the worst ?

Based upon the poll results we can call class as the "runt of the litter"

Be 100% subjective....your overall impression of a class which is pathetic when compared to other classes in metrics of your choice

The one that needs a hotfix from devs ASAP

I can't answer your poll because you listed 10 play styles for the only 5 classes in the game. In general, I would say warden, but I can't select both magicka and stamina play styles. Sorry to be such a stickler for details, but it is what it is.

Dunno what these stamblade votes are for. Stamblade is VERY strong now because it does better in medium armor than stam sorc and dk, and it deals more hard hitting direct damage than the other stam classes, taking advantage of Master-at-Arms.

Meanwhile mageblade heavily relied on Siphoning Attacks. Our entire build patterns have shifted.

The answers are completely different in PVP and PVE. My magicka nightblade got buffed a lot in PVE, but received heavy nerfs to the two core mechanics of magblade PVP: dual-resource sustain (removed) and burst timing (made more clunky).

both nb but magblade still can be alive on pvp because of shield from light armor if cloak wont work and ofc much better dps in pve because of magica while stamblade only advantage over rest is just on pvp still ganking and now direct damage buff from cp, survivability still the wors if cloak dont work etc, sustain screwed more, just much easier will be to change nb into warden to keep 4 classes and then dont nerf that much wardens while it was on PTS

That doesn't mean anything. Hodor themselves have said they ran 7 magsorcs not because magsorcs are the only competitive DPS for trials this patch but because they already had magsorcs. That screenshot represents last patch's meta, not this one's.

Nobody asked about PvE and to be honest with you, Nightblades have been *** for PvE since the Funnel Health nerf so.

They lack of a good DoT.

Yup. Though, me personally, I think MagBlade will be OK. However, without having Morrowind on console yet, I can't be 100% sure til it hits.

Nobody asked about PvE and to be honest with you, Nightblades have been *** for PvE since the Funnel Health nerf so.

They lack of a good DoT.

I though this poll is overall about this game at all in pve and pvp nightblades are ***...just now in pvp its a bit more balanced for nb while its no mor endless fights with permblocks healbots and DK's and no more working pirate skeleton while shields up, just for pvp nb now isnt in that bad state as before patch but he still isnt in good or very good place as sorcs in open fights

Curious why you voted magicka nightblade on day 1 of the patch. Magicka nightblade was the first class I jumped on last night, and I had so much fun I couldn't even try my other classes.

I played in CP/Cyrodiil and I didn't need to modify his build much from last patch, went with a CP configuration that I thought made sense.

hmm..maybe but look then on Mashinate..his man was nb and isnt he on of the NB master on server? he prefered then to go on easy mode meta sorc for his 1st run instead of lovely rekt nb

With a lot of people running light and medium again stam blade and mag blade will hit slighter hard than last patch.I give everyone 2 weeks before people switch back to heavy you can make it work this patch for stam and magic heavy armor there setup that's work fine in no cp and the changes.

Trust me Nightblades are extremely strong in this new meta that is changing and a combination of certain sets are making Nightblades feel like they are from 1.8

In open fights a Sorcerer doesn't stand a chance, I mean it depends in what but if you go solo you will get *** as a magicka Sorc but if you are talking about Stamina Sorc then you're completely right, they are way better at surviving, talking from a PvP aspect I'm very happy, I used to main a Nightblade but getting 3 shot by everyone is very annoying so I gave up and stopped playing one.

I hope they get a buff to PvE, maybe their Shadow Ultimate should get a damage increase of 50% and also a Stamina morph because if you decide to buff their spammable they will be broken in PvP, I'm fine if they buff Concealed Weapon to the Surprise Attack damage while also inflicting Major Fracture (Spell Pen one).

Check out Mashinate's own comments on the balance changes: Mashinate expects NBs to have a place in vet trial groups going forward. As I said, they only ran magsorcs because that's what they had been practicing with for an entire patch.

Templar healers lost a lot of group utilities.

1.Repentance - 2 or more templars can't repent on a body & no stamina return for the group.Also, the class doesn't have passives that restore any resource back or augment the pools we already have only a 4% cost reduction
2.Shards with orbs -no stun etc
3.Blazing shield nerf
4. Nova - instead of damage 30% it became Major Maim (the most expensive ultimate in the game - warden has a skill that applies Major Maim)
5. Rite of Passage - This ability now grants the caster Major Protection for 10 seconds at Rank IV instead of giving allies 20% damage reduction.
6.Rushed ceremony got the 180-degree cone
7.lost major to minor mending


So in my opinion templars that play a supporting role got the worst.

Haven't played yet - but seeing Stam Nightblade winning does not surprise me in the least.

I tried to start a Stam Nightblade Archer and it was utter trash. I mean you have like no AoE - that alone is a gimping factor (sorry but that arrow storm ability is crap, should hardly considered an AoE.)

I got to level 19 and that alone took probably 10 hours, but I just couldn't take it anymore. I went back to my level 8 MagSorc and had her to level 50 within 10 hours because she's super cheese with AoE.

That for me was the gimping factor - the only thing my Nightblade has even remotely AoE is that crap bow skill, which doesn't even come from the class -_-

Also what the heck is up with the ultimate for the one tree? The Assassination or whatever... I get it only costs like 79 ult or something (for me) but why can't I even fell one single enemy with it - whereas desto staff ulti gives me ridiculous AoE and flattens crowds.

Playing Stam Nightblade is like dragging your nuts through the shards and sands of Coldharbor. The class seems to offer absolutely no redeeming factors - maybe I'm missing something, but I hated it - and this was like 3 months ago - not even from Morrowwind did I have this opinion.
