Cyrodiil hasnt changed much in three years. MMOs are social games. if you dont play it to have fun with your friends, whats the point? you arent going to gain world notoriety or epic fame. what maintains the drive? its got to be your friends.

i never did get a master weapon (would have been v14 so wouldn't help now). I do have gold vicious ophidian and eternal yokeda v14 pieces I got from campaign rewards.end of campaign rewards have been completely pointless ever since they removed the chance of getting Master weapons for being in one of the top spots.
the gold is important to me...i'm no "master" merchant - so, one of my primary sources of income in game is the end of campaign rewards and selling the gear i get from rewards for the worthy...
I spend at least 200k each month gearing up for cyrodiil...having 8 characters reaching tier 3 rewards (for each faction) helps greatly...
but, the reason I spend a good amount of gold gearing up is because I love the opportunity to compete with and against other players...
it's a constant challenge that has stayed fun for me for almost 2 years now...

And here my cheap self is, spamming my crappy looted magicka and stam pots... lol

I usually find it more relaxing to run around solo compared to playing in a group. No objectives, no obligations, just wander around and kill people or get killed.

This is a pretty accurate representation of what I do. I used to solo resources when I was getting 25 AP for them because it ... gasp ... helped my alliance. Now that I get 1500 AP it's just an added bonus.
When soloing I try and get 1 resource per life and fight anyone in my way to said resource. Sometimes it ends in a humiliating defeat. Other times I fill up a kill 20 in 4 minutes because I ran into a Zerg fight.Sallington wrote: »the gold is important to me...i'm no "master" merchant - so, one of my primary sources of income in game is the end of campaign rewards and selling the gear i get from rewards for the worthy...

I only use those magic pots for PVE. It's been a long time since I had to buy any reagents but it's safe to say that I probably burn through 100 columbine in a month due to PVP.
If you're not running immovable + health + health regen + magic (or stamina) + magic regen (or stamina regen) you're at a severe disadvantage.
Between that and my Invisibility + Speed I average probably 20 potions per hour in PVP.
