Its fun to win a battle with the build you created before. You become stronger with more experience and can beat strong player or 1vs2 - 1vsX situations. With friends and small groups the fun is really good, but only when you dont have a target you want to reach.

I enjoy the challenge of killing other players and working together to achieve our goals. Ever since the dawn of PvP it became apparent that playing other people offered challenges that PVE could never achieve.

There is nothing like Killing your enemies. To see them driven before you and to hear the lamentation of the snowflake.

Listen. The above is a little tongue and cheek, but let me describe something for you. I usually like Solo and small group play because it offers the most freedom in carrying out what I'd like to do, BUT... after a long time searching I found a guild that is chill, doesn't criticize/chastise it's players for playing builds they want or just want to try and the guild commander offers a real example of the successes in Cyrodiil to be achieved through leadership.

Just last night I see a this guy come into teamspeak and take the same group of 20 players that had been getting pummeled for the last straight hour and turn it around to just PWN a group 3 times it's size for 3 hours straight. It's THAT kind of **** that has me playing PvP despite it's lag and class balance issues, and STUPID mechanics that promote Zerging.

Testing builds while solo or duo pvping is a lot of fun for me. But my most basic motivation is to find good fights where I can challenge myself. I very rarely play the campaign game, if I do mostly to (help) create a map that is better suited for challenging fights.

If not for the friends and acquaintances I've made in ESO, I would have quit long ago because of its various issues.

However, despite its issues, what I think makes Cyrodiil amazing is its dynamic nature and the variety of metagames. I love that one never knows what's around a corner or what the next fight will be like.

I enjoy objective based, team oriented games. Combat without context is boring to me. I like that in Cyrodiil, I can play with an organized group of 2-24 players (generally 2-16 in my case) or contribute to the larger team of my faction playing solo.

I like the build variety in the game. For the past month or so, I've been playing a hybrid role support build while playing solo to help my AD teammates -- especially other solo players -- which has been very fun and rewarding.

Well, first off I liked the mechanics related to combat in elder scrolls single player games, and I like the way these are transfered to ESO.

I enjoy playing alone, I don't want to have to wait for someone, nor do I want to have someone waiting for me -> PVP offers large, middle and small scale combat of varying difficulty without the need to form a fixed group, meet at a specific time or place and become or get "a liability".

PVP offers me freedom to choose how I like to play, starting with my gear and skill set (try that in endcontent PVE) and continuing with when I play (or when I take a break bc real-life wants something from me).

Lastly, PVP offers me a very close feedback to what I do and how I do it. Running solo means I can't be tempted to point fingers at anyone else but me. Over the years i got a more skilled and thoughtfull player and I like that. I take pleasure in learning and PVP offers an almost neverending learning experience.

... Ok, and I like to kill stuff and players, get AP to buy new stuff and climb the leaderboards and ranks... :D

Not alot of players play in the sewers. It's sad really because that's what got me into PvP in the first place. The districts can see some play but it's mostly PvEers farming stones. It's hard to find challenging fights there

When I was doing regular pvp, and with pvp there is always a certain amount of unpredictability that makes it fun, but to be honest after awhile some of the groups were as predictable as npc's LOL

Fun, friends and no strings attacked. More relaxed then PvE engame (ie ALMOST nobody complains about your setup, level, gear, CP and you don't get kicked if your DPS is to low)

Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

FYI - There is no such thing as 'night capping' in a world wide MMO.
FYI - There was no paid Beta. When they launched the game the Beta was over, even if you don't think it was.
    FYI - It's B2P not F2P. There is a difference.
FYI - It doesn't take any player skill to mash keys or buttons in this game. The ones that stay alive longer have the better internet connection and speed.
FYI - The game is not broken, it still works. It just has 'bugs' that need to be fixed.
    Balance is a "Bad" thing.

Example: There were hundreds of Jedi and only two Sith in Star Wars. The Jedi wanted, "Balance in the Force" and they got it. Now there are only two Jedi and two Sith.

    Balance is a "Bad" thing.

Just play since the release date and stop some month to take a little break. To be onnest, since I complete all quest of any alliance, I don't see the point of grinding material, I dont have any friend playing the game so, I have to pug every time I try to run dongeon, and it's really lame.

In PVP we just have to log and hope to find A good leader and we can have lot of fun four hour and hour, you can't do that in pug PVE groupe. PvP is a huge team work moment then PVE can't handle.
