Thief. As my healer has totally enought both regens and healing the only thing I can improve is DPS, so I changed ritual for thief.

With morrowind you need more recovery for burst heals or will be pulling heavy attacks only!

Due the upcoming changes to cp you will need the regen, you will lose a good 16% reduce cost as well as 9% regen on itself. Even now i use atro because i personally dont need the other ones. Enough magicka and cp make my heals powerfull enough. Its nice to have some sustain at panic moments

The sets healers use at the moment dont offer a lot of regen either. Like spell power cure doesnt offer anything but magicka and spell damage. So again regen from mundus is a nice addition.

And as a healer i dont have time to dps because of the buffs i need to keep up. So anything else than Atronach is not worth it in my opinion.

    Enjoy!

    Thief
The Thief and only thief. My templar healer wears full Shroud of the Lich set so magicka regen is high and secured all the time. 2-nd set is full Mother's Sorrow so my crit is also high with Thief mundus.

    Ritual
In terms of pure healing output, ritual is the best.
I personally usually use the thief as it is only slightly behind the ritual, but it also increases my damage, which is more useful for dungeons and dsa than that bit of extra healing from the ritual.
For next patch atronarch might be useful, but I still hope, switching my jewelery enchants from spell damage to recovery / cost reduction will be enough, at least for good groups where I don't need to spam bol 24/7.

Depends on the content you are playing and what your goal is here. Almost Anyone who refers to healers doing dps is talking 4 man content and will take the thief. In trials with what have currenty become popular builds (Vanady from Hodor or FearTurbo), you have shards and lightning wall as your only skills that deal damage. A point to be made against the ritual is that it will not scale with potion buffs or a warhorn rotation. My healer with the atronach sits at 2016 recovery, 2014 spell damage, and 40.6k max magicka with 1 piece heavy Kena helm, inner light, and defending spc staves. With a potion (crafted sd/crit) i go up to 2200 roughly, with warhorn rotation and a race with any max magicka, you will literally be better off with the mage stone during warhorn uptime than the ritual. On PC with buff timers, add ons, and good frames you could probably get away with 1600 recovery but that depends on what you're comfortable with. On Xbox it doesn't matter what your stats are because your game will crash no matter how much recovery you have ;). I don't like my magicka sitting in the 50% or under range frequently so I use atronach.

    Thief
It's thief....and its not for the damage increase. It's for the healing crits.

You slot 1 or 2 cost reduction on jewelry ... shoot for about 1500 regen. or do all 3 for jewelry and get close to 1700.

I can heal trials with no regen issues.
wearing SPC, worm, maelstrom weapons. Slotting 2 spell damage on jewelry and 1 regen. i sit at 1300 regen and never have problems.

Of course this is BEFORE the morrowind changes... so my set up may need to change.

HOWEVER.... there is some merit behind the idea of super regen... yes your base healing would take a hit but you could spam BoL all day.
Atro mundus... 3 regen glyphs on jewerly... should push you over 2000.
I guess i just prefer stronger heals over spamming everything all the time. To each their own though...

You never want to get close to running out of magicka as a healer, and any half-way decent build once you cover the basics will give you more than enough base healing.

This sounds like a great idea, what vampire abilities do you use and what does your bar look like when you use it?

How exactly is that kick ass for healing? No magicka regen in either set. Yes you can hit high crit heals, but crit heals aren’t a healer’s primary concern. It’s SUSTAINED healing. Especially in PvP when you have (generally) considerably more people to heal, purge, combat prayer, and orb. Rarely standing still long enough to even pop rune or channeled focus. Your build is mostly dps-based so I’m going to assume that’s what you were going for, not healing.

Hmm... thinking about this more. It might be actually depend on the situation and healing skills you need to give priority. . Some skills are based off max magicka more while other spell damage. On that same though ritual probably provides balance for pve and thief for pvp. Well those are my thoughts.

I admit, I use Thief for PvE. With inner light on my bae, and legendary divines SPC, my crit is about 55% (no set I wear provides me crit, unless I toss on IA for VDSA or a vet dungeon).

Atronach I switch to on PvP. Any healer PvP set won’t likely feature much crit, and you arguably need even more sustain in PvP because you’re wearing heavy Ann’s losing out on the light armor passives.
