Seems like lunar bastion would be good for longer fights and imperial shorter...But I don't know. Still over time it's a 25k shield for allies.

If you're stuck on long pug fights and end up tanking zergs in a dungeon use Leeching plate and lunar bastion. The shield keeps them semi alive and leeching saves you from the dw stamplar healer.
Although it is noted that scrubs often run away from the cool effect lunar bastion leaves on the ground thinking it's harmful despite being blue. Not joking I have had the other 3 all run off everytime it popped.
How did you manage to reply to a post from 9:30 at 9:34 and end up as reply #3?
I do a lot of PUG dungeons on my tank and I run 5 lunar bastion and 5 resilient yokeda. The two combined helps me pull the pugs through.
Lunar gives a shield for me and the dps standing behind me spamming light attacks. Plus it gives minor aegis which is great because a tank in a PUG is going to be getting beaten on for a long time. Resilient yokeda gives me back health and does an aoe damage. Any extra DPS I can provide helps save my sanity after an hour in a dungeon.

That dps is nothing compared to more warhorns with tavas/or more health with ebony so no time is wasted in picking pugs up/alkosh dps buff+damage. 3rd piece is complete waste as you get minor aegies from lunar. Lunar bastion is definitely nice with for stacked fights, with 100 in bastion if could provide some good extra defense. However its not enough to be a "game changer", there are only few instances i put it on. Ruins of Azzatun last boss if we have someone with 400 cp there, it helps keep them alive, axes in vaa (minor aegies, don't feel like farming up footmans) for everything else, alkosh+ebony. For pugging I personally run 5x alkosh/5xpowerful assault/charged maelstrom lighting staff with shock glyph on backbar (minor vul since most pug healers don't even have lighting staff much less a charged one), not to brag but I am increasing dps tremendously without dying in that setup - i also run burning embers for 10% buff to fire damage for pugs if theres no dk or i see dk not using it. This way most of my pug dungeon findered groups are speed runs given that everyone in the group is at least 250cp.
its a pure tanking set. like pure tanking with negligible group support (8 meters? lul - 2399 dmg shield? lul - every 2 secs? does it stack? no? ok - lul)
tanks need resources - now more than ever. so this "healing taken" and "max hp" stats are just worthless.
like dont get me started on hist bark - hist bark got its fame from back in the day when it stacked with OP DK Cinder Storm. but after that was nerfed/fixed w/e people still wear it despite the healing recov 4piece being a complete throw away stat. you are not efficient at all. youre wearing a 5 piece for 3 bonuses instead of 4. Tavas sort of fixed that but no one is really wearing that anymore either.
with the next patch - you wanna stam tank? better start farming draugr hulk - want to mag tank? willow's path it up. all this "healing taken" bs is going to take a back seat to sustain.
I just tried it, since I leveled a new tank to 50. It's horrible.
Your ranged DPS will not be in range of the rune, the proc is not exactly reliable (in the sense you can't proc it to mitigate damage when needed the most) and the shield it gives is laughable.
