sustaining possable fixes for tanking

If ZOS was to make the time of taunts to last 30 sec this might improve PVE game play
give tanks time to rebuild resources
other than buff, taunt , block [ roll dodge out of red circles } repeat , then out of resources
also make INNER RAGE a group taunt for large pulls { AA axes }
this wouldn't hurt PVP at all taunt is useless in pvp other then the reducing debuff
which I think could be raised also with out much affect on pvp

    Group taunt for large pulls, yeah I like that idea a lot. Imagine the meta shifting to shield wall ult spamming and heavy attacking to get resources back to full every third or fourth rotation haha...no war horns :'(

    Tremorscale cares not for Wether your taunt is ranged or AOE, and I don't know that ESO needs a ranged taunt.

    As for 30 second taunts, I suppose? I'm no expert, but one cast of pierce armor every 15 seconds is already peanuts for stamina to my character.

    well I was just think if you didn't have to taunt every 15 sec we might see tank adding more skills to there bar not sure thou

    there are already 2 ranged taunts in game but they are single target

    Tanks are usually using all the skills on their bar already. We don't just sit there hitting Pierce armor every 15 seconds.

    Tanks doesnt need sustain, they need tankiness.

    Tanks have tankiness, they also have sustain. Now its just that you have to spec for it.

    That already is a ranged taunt. There is no AoE taunt, but there is already a ranged taunt, 2 actually. Heavy attacking with a frost staff and inner fire from the undaunted skill line.

    Or give mass-taunt to Frost Impulse as an additional effect.

    Check the new PvP set, I dunno its name, which gives a debuff to you if you don't attack the player who is using taunt against you :)

    But anyhow, this would be great against zergs again! :)

    @DocFrost72 we on console never had buff trackers, even on PC if you do have them realistically you will lose taunt every now and then etc. Plus mobs spawn across the room sometimes.I can confirm that we need a ranged taunt, it only makes sense. For example; have you ever tanked VDSA? It is a messy mayhem that is awesome, what happens when you're tanking the main bosses and mini bosses/hard hitting adds spawn from left field? You cannot chains some adds so you must use range taunt. Must consider both pve/pvp when talking about taunts. Now the stamina version of inner fire is useless no one needs that=change to aoe taunt.

    @wimhwimladimf I'm afraid you're wrong. Players have been tanking in medium armour for a while now, guard/block/healing makes it easy mode. Sets like 'Armor Master' allow light armour to tank at max resistance as well I believe. Tanking prior Morrowind has peaced out sustain and 'tankiness'. Dungeons/trials only phase one shots/mechanics to tanks now. We're at a state now where all we want not need is more utility for boosting dps and or anything in that direction. With Morrowind tanks will focus more on sustain and less on utility, ideally so far.

    Tanking is already the easiest role in PvE, we don't need to make it easier with an AOE taunt. We already have a ranged taunt as well. I don't think any of these proposed changes are needed for tanking.
