Can the game have both online and offline mode?

Konstant_Tel_Necris✭✭✭✭✭This is a MMO therefor there is no offline mode and never can be. In my 17 years of MMO gaming I have never heard of a MMO having a offline mode.
Shroud of the Avatar: Forsaken Virtues from Richard Garriott have such feature.

Besids there is certain MMO that have ability to instal local server as your own personal "shard" like Dawn of Light server emulator for The Dark Age of Camelot

✭✭✭✭✭The most we can hope for is when ZOS decides to shut the servers down, their last act will be to release an Update that allows us to play the game offline like a Singleplayer game.
