As shown in the eso-live, the warden utility skill that help you sustain is free to cast. In light of this, I have my own suggestion to how this skill(s) should work for the nb in a similar way.

    Siphoning strikes:
    • Cost: Free
    • Duration: 20 seconds
    • When activated your light and heavy attacks restore 1400 health to you.

    Leeching strikes:
    • Cost: Free
    • Duration: 20 seconds
    • When activated you gain minor mending and your light and heavy attacks restore 400 stamina and 1400 health.

    Siphoning attacks:
    • Cost: free
    • Duration: 20 seconds
    • When activated you gain minor intellect and your light and heavy attacks restore 400 magicka and 1400 health.

Something to that effect. Stamblades desperately need some better healing, giving them minor mending would help in this regard.

Shouldn't one of the morphs offer something useful for stam characters?

Well if minor mending and stamreturn isnt useful for stamina...the I dunno:D

@olsborg how is minor mending useful for stam DPS?

It isn't but it would be helpful in PvP. I think minor vitality would be better since it'll strengthen the heals from the healers in PvE; while at the same time being helpful in PvP. The minor vitality shouldn't be passively given though like Swallow Soul; it should be given upon activation for 20 seconds. This way it still remains after weapon swap.

Yea thats what I meant, it feels like the devs are pigeonholing stamblades into gankers, stamblades have terrible, terrible healing and having minor mending would ...mend that issue.

@olsborg and as usual, everyone seems to forget that people would like to play their Nightblades in PvE as well. :)

With these morphs, doesn't look like a skill I'd use on my PvE stamblade. If it were Minor Vitality or maybe something like Minor Resolve it might be better.

Just seems like the Magicka morph is more generally useful and the stam morph is exclusively for PvP utility.

I would rather use the version @olsborg posted then the current PTS version on my stamnb in pve.

I would use minor mending in pve, sure its more useful in pvp, it just boils down to build I guess. Leeching strikes in the current pts build is complete bs. It wont be used by anyone becasue the stamreturn you get from it is so weak you have to focus hard just to break even resourewise, and the heal is terrible and moreso in pvp.

I just don't see what the point of Minor Mending is in PvE outside of a bit of utility in Maelstrom. Everywhere else in PvE, someone else is responsible for healing.

I just want the ability to go back to how it was before Homestead. It was fine, never should've changed in the first place.

That wont happen, it would go completely against their new "sustain-game".

Wait, Leeching Strikes is no longer a toggle ability? And instead of a damage cut it's simply redundant?

After being out for a year I was about to come back (after being wooed by the level scaling/open world approach and the introduction of duels), but I've been reminded why I quit in the first place. First the light attack speed boost from Haste was gone, then the light attack speed boost from Rapid Strikes, then the light attack speed boost from Agility.

Leeching Strikes went well with those abilities and was crippling to use without them (which I still did because I had fun playing a character that was mine), but now even that is gone.

Obviously there were and still are many more issues (I'm still upset about werewolves not being forced to turn traditionally; instead 'allowed' to turn for 30 seconds, but only after being in combat for a time.) And there's the ridiculous addition of a resource recovery mechanic via heavy attacks.

I have so much to complain about, but I still see an incredible game that is constantly improving, even while play styles are constantly being bombarded. This sucks.
