If Warden were dropped into the current patch, it would be OP for sure. However I'm waiting to see what the other class changes are going to be before making that judgment.

Some very unique class abilities and some that seem to be similar to other classes abilities. I look forward to some interesting builds but i doubt it will outshine anyone. Maybe DK tanks will get a challenge. Depends on how well that ice portal works

    Warden seems boring and weak
This thing reads as a total dud, effects duplicated across several skills and the effects for that thunderbug aoe as just plain aweful

I hope I'm wrong but as a solo player that likes to tell stories, run with a few friends now and then or just blow stuff up, there just ain't nothing there... I've got alts across all the classes and this one seems a jack of all trades and master of none

    Like I say, I hope I'm wrong, I really do, but I don't think I am... :(

Have to say I was completely underwhelmed by the skill sets for Warden.

As things stand can't see why I'd give up playing my Magplar to start one.

I'm concerned about the lack of offensive spells. I think that a reasonable solution would be to grant impling shards a magicka based morph, and maybe to arctic wind too.

Also i don't like the free of cost purge mechanic that it is the netch skill. How am i supposed to proc curses on wardens? We need some form of counterplay, maybe make the animation bashable.

Yep, absolutely no ranged CC. Good luck playing bow warden in PVP. At least vs ranged magicka builds it will be unplayable.

Whether it's useful or not is not the point I was making! The point is it looks garbage! Give any five year old a creation suite and they create something better than that! It looks absolutely ***! Its Lazy design plain and simple, I don't care if it one shots giants, if it looks that stupid I'm not bloody well using it!

A few of the skills and passives seem to be just better versions or current skills.

The warden armor buff is 24's, self cast and provides minor protection and aoe gives armor to everyone.
The templars one lasts quite a bit shorter. Sure it provides major mending but so does basically everything a templar has and with minor protection

Warden passive that increases both physical and frost dmg by 6% is literally just a better version of DK's world in ruin which increases poison and fire dmg AOE by 6%

Some seem to just be better versions of whats currently available.

in general the warden seems balanced, compared to our current classes, but 1 skill is in my opinion a bit broken:

Betty Netch - Call a Betty Netch that restores Magicka over 22 seconds. Gain Major Sorcery, increasing Spell Damage by 20% over 24 seconds. This ability has no cost.

    - Blue Betty - Call a Betty Netch that restores Magicka over 25 seconds. Gain Major Sorcery, increasing Spell Damage by 20% over 27 seconds. When activated, removes 1 negative effect. This ability has no cost.
    - Bull Netch – Call a Bull Netch that restores Stamina over 25 seconds. Grants Major Brutality, increasing weapon damage by 20% over 27 seconds, and Major Sorcery, increasing Spell Damage by 20% over 27 seconds. This ability has no cost.

but yes i couldnt test it, so im not sure ... but no other class have a ability like this, also because this skill is free!

lets see how it will work ;)

This is because it is a 25 second duration consumable. It doesn't actually do anything else. It replaces a potion, and supplements (or works in concert with) whatever food or drink is active.

Just terrible. WTF is a frost skill line doing there? Why do none of the frost skills scale off anything but health? Will they ever release a decent frost skill line in this game?

Honestly so many of the frost skills are so unimaginative too.
-"Envelop yourself in winter winds, healing for 10% of max Health instantly and an additional 2% Health every 2 seconds over 10 seconds."
Great another generic %hp heal, except that its a HoT, making it the worst %hp heal in the game. Also why isnt this a shield rather than a heal? Its an ICE tree, I'm pretty sure it should be a shield.
-Impaling Shards, why the bloody bosmer doesnt this have a magicka morph at least?

Such a waste of time, they should have just made this a nature based tree like the other two. A heal over time would have made sense for a nature tank, impaling shards could have been brambles or something. Could have given it Barkskin, Frozen Gate could have been some kind of entangling roots. Honestly the Winter's Embrace skills are mostly so generic the only thing that makes them frost themed will be the spell effects, which wont mesh visually with all the nature spell effects from the other skill lines anyway.

It seems like its a free purge, gives resources, allows necropotence, grants sorcery as well. Seems pretty strong, i'm not liking the free purge it gives though.

Sort of depends on what happens when people spam it. They might need to add a "removes 1 negative effect, this can only happen once every X seconds"

Seems OK so far but if I were a betting man I would say it will be made a bit overpowered on launch, accidently on purpose, so it will promote sales of Morrowind.
