Does anyone have a screencap of the questions they asked?

I am really curious about the types of questions they are asking bout our elder scrolls "experience."

Probably things like "have you ever purchased something from the crown store" and "would you consider paying crowns for X"

Would be pleasantly surprised if there is anything about quality or game performance.

They probably want to gather your data so they know what you like, what you want and what you will buy.

They already know what you've bought. They just want to know how to get you to buy more.

It's probably a marketing survey.

Unless you signed an NDA you are perfectly morally and legally free to share the contents of the survey. There is nothing in the survey that implies that the questions you were asked are confidential or privileged.

I would say it is in our best interest to know what questions ZOS wants the answer to because it will give us an early look as to where the game is headed.


Edit: Since the survey is confidential, perhaps ZOS could just tell us what was asked and be open with the community. I wonder if the survey was only sent to people that spent a lot of crowns or bought gamble crates.

Question 3. Would you pay $80 for a flying mount that screeches and spits fire breaking the immersion of everyone else in the game?

Question 4.
Instead of crafting furnishings in game and decorating your house with things you bought, would you rather gamble real money for a chance at getting a furnishing?

Would you gamble for a chance at winning a chance to win another chance to win?

It's saying something not nice about me that I am so lazy I will not check my email after reading this thread. And probably forget all about this subject in roughly five minutes. Even though I could use $20 cause I be poor. And crowns. But to much effort to open ... my ... mail... moving on.

I'm still curious what the survey asked about. With ZOS changing their TOS to give more information to third parties this is interesting.

Yep, it's a real, legit thing. That said, this email only went out to a handful of players so not everyone received it.

Good to know! They didn't ask for any sensitive info, but it's comforting to know that it wasn't just a poorly thought out scam

Those of you who elected not to block your account information being sent to third parties of ZOS would get one. They are the ones doing the survey and they have your information. Read the fine print of the lengthy new Privacy Act Statement from ZOS. There was an opt out option for sharing your information to third parties. Why would ZOS do a survey, all they have to do is read the forums. By not electing to opt out your information was most likely given to several companies and if you haven't already you will be receiving a lot of junk, spam mail. Anyways that's what I think and why some of you are receiving a survey.

I opted out of everything in my account settings. If you are saying I need to do something beyond that like send a private message to a moderator and ask "mother may I" then I doubt such an unofficially feeling method would stop it anyway.

But as far as my information, I use a P.O. Box for my address, pay with Paypal, and use an email address that I only use for game payments. So I really don't give a flying Guar who has that totally useless information.

But you are right to be concerned about privacy in this day and age.

I started the game on April 16th, and purchased about 30K crown on the same day. Where's my gawddam survey and extra crown.

I would like to get crowns also as a ESO+ member. For loosing 2 DAYS OF PLAYTIME BECAUSE OF YOUR EU STUPID MAINTENANCE TIMES.

Very badly worded and very unprofessional looking in my opinion, and while zos has confirmed its legit, sending out things that scream out scam, is not a very sensible thing to do.

Edit: sorry just realised this thread is a month old. Still it would be interesting to know how many of you who filled out the survey, got your free crowns and how many didn't?

Guarantee its a scam because ZOS doesn't care about feedback.

Especially from people who don't take time to read the first page of the discussion.
