fact of the matter is this, just as it was in beta 2013 and even unto today the sorcerer is still overpowered.
here in the video presented we see that sorcerer doing far more damage then any class can do and surviving in large groups.
simply doing too much damage and has too much survivability.

The OP posted up a really cool and fun video in which he does insane damage to BAD, LOW CP, and UNDERGEARED players.
That is NOT 'typical' damage.
If your opponent:
* Wears light or otherwise low armor
* Has no CP in Hardy or Elemental Defender
* Wears no impenetrable gear
* Has no crit resist CP
* Not blocking
* Not dodging
* Not reflecting
* Not using major evasion or protection
* Cannot keep a shield up
* Has low health
Yes. You are going to eat an 18K crystal frag. And you will probably die.
You will also instantly die to any nightblade out of stealth. A stam DK will kill you in one crit rush/dizzy swing. A Templar can kill you in one rotation.

Lord_Invel✭✭✭@Lord_Hev a lot of people don't know that max mag sorcs use mage mundus along with innerlight and bound aegis. I used dual wield setups like urs in pts and got close to 60k without pets also by back barring curse. But getting such max magicka makes ur bars look weird and clunky which is why I stick with the 48k to 51k magicka mark and not use the 58k max magicka threshold.0
