What if we had a setting to make it so our poisons don't proc on npc mobs?

I cringe every time my poisons proc on mobs in IC.... It's led me to just stop using them altogether.

Edit: And no, equipping and unequipping the poisons over and over isn't a realistic "solution" because you're in constant combat in IC, switching back and forth between players and mobs over extended periods of time. Stick to the topic please.

There is a setting already in the game that ensures poisons do not proc when we do not want them to. Remove them from the slot.

Agree non issue though i forget most of the time.

Imperial city though is the biggest pain.

They are most certainly not troll posts. So few people have seem to have an issue with this that you are the only player I have seen create a thread like this or make a comment on the matter.

Might that be because most people take using poisons on mobs for granted and haven't considered such a setting before? Do you like using your poisons on mobs, increasing their ult costs, decreasing their crit chance, or snaring them?

Just because you heard of something for the first time doesn't mean it isn't an issue or idea worth contemplating.

I don't like poisons in duels either. But I prefer to leave that up to players' choice when entering into a duel.

And before these other people say "well it's your choice to not unequip them when fighting players in IC," you can't change gear during combat, and IC tends to keep you in combat with strings of mobs between fights with players. Since the fights with players are largely unpredictable, there is seldom an opportunity to sneak off to the side and equip poisons in preparation, not that I'd want to stop fighting to do so in the first place.

All the people saying this is a non issue clearly haven't been to IC with a poison equipped. Its pretty easy to use up 1k poisons in an hour or two, whereas in your normal PvP sessions, those 1k last much longer.
