Do a search on the hacks available in game. The OP outlined this as the issue. You are able to join a forum and get links to this software. Some of them are actually files you just drag and drop into your game folder that replace in game files. I will not participate in naming and shaming as that will only get me in trouble. The videos have been sent in to zenimax and the only reply i have recieved is with many words of caution regarding how i proceed.

Those sites you mentioned offer information for dozens of games, including this one. Companies like Zenimax aren't ignoring the problem, but there is a battle being waged here. The exploiters aren't standing still - they patch their products, too, and the methods which would be necessary to easily solve the problem would also make modern games unplayable. It's not just a matter of closing a hole, its a matter of making sure that any such attempts to do so don't make Cyrodiil completely unplayable. Again. Because that's happened before.

No. Naming and shaming is guilty until proven innocent. Naming and shaming is slanderous. If you name and shame irl then you're a pest.

I agree, naming and shaming can produce witch hunts. A solution would be to adopt the many anti hack methods introduced by other game manufacturers. I wish as a community we could help somehow, but all things considered is to fail just like the many trying to derail this topic.

They're lying. I'm convinced this person came here to deliberately rile us up over videos that don't exist.

If they prove me wrong, I'll happily eat crow, apologise, and politely discuss solutions to the problem. Until then...

Like i posted in my thread man. I am not unstable, i am simply saying provide the proof.

I literally created a site esocheaters.com about a year ago for this reason and let it die because for all the hot air spewed about, very very little proof was provided.

So many people talk talk talk avout cheaters and cheat engine and this and that and nothing is done.

When i saw people exploiting into keeps with gap closers i *** that garbage down. I kept the pressure on until they came out and officially said it was an exploit and banned some folk.

If you are gonna have the balls to say you have proof positive people cheat and then "spread the word" by naking a forum post that you reported them, what the hell good did that do?

Either expose em and let them have their peers judge them or report them in silenece, but asking for attention because you have reported people is insane.

Please read the original post. It was complaining that the hacks are available. I will not name and shame. It has been outlined several times that this is simply not allowed. I have been told to proceed with caution. I will not link you videos. I will not be bullied into doing so. I don't want to get banned. Zos has outlined this and made it very clear. I want to have a meaningful conversation on how a community can produce positive results to stop hacks and hackers as outlined in the OP. Stop derailing this already.

The community can't. You can't do anything to stop them.

This thread is hot air, and maybe it makes you feel better to complain about it. That's fine and I understand, but don't for a second think that we can any sway in this matter.

What you posted was random listing of things that can be explained away without any hacks anyway man, its meaningless all around.

If you wanted to enact change, you blast these guys everywhere so they are forced to at least be open about it, but w/e I'll leave you alone since I am apparently too militant for your tastes, unstable and all

This has nothing to do with the Naming and Shaming policy, and this is not a derailment tactic. You could have found a way to prove your inflamitory accusations about the community at large without naming offenders. It's been done plenty of times in the past:

If you boast about evidence in your posession, people will ask to see it. If you backtrack and fail to proviode that evidence, people will correctly call you out as a liar. In other words, don't write a cheque your ass can't cash.
