Looks nice but I toohad the thought about why build access to the accessible balcony.

I'll take a different direction but it looks nice.

One thing I noticed (I'm a castle fanatic in real life) is that in all ESO and in your wonderful newly built tower the spiral staircase goes the other way around. :)
In medieval castles they going upwards counterclockwise to give the advantages to the defenders to fight with their "main" (right) hand on the stairs while the attacker suffers some extra penalty attacking with the off-hand (left hand).
I guess it would have been fun to assemble an assault force of men-at-arms all letf handed to cause some surprise when sieging :)
But please, nevermind this, don't even think about reversing the whole staircase, I have the idea how difficult it was to place those planks properly!
Again, thank you for sharing this, it's awe inspirational!

First of all, thats freaking amazing desgin :D

got a little q, the stairs you made, do you have to jump to get up, or can u just run like it was normal stairs?

You can run them pretty smoothly like normal stairs - no jumping needed at all. I wonder why they haven't included all kinds of stairs. Most of the objects that look promising in the beginning won't allow smooth walking above them...

thx, so far I havent had luck making stairs that you can run on, so I made them as hills instead, for lack of better word :D

Since this is my house as well I got rather excited when I saw this... until I saw the cost of the Redguard Arc bench. 400 crowns each? Can they not be bought for gold or crafted?

Wooden platform, huh? I'm just running up and down planks for my "stairs". Might be something to look into.

Very clever use of the arc bench there!

They can be crafted, but it's an epic and therefore pretty rare blueprint:

I just checked the guildstores for someone who can craft them and send him a mail. Wasn't really cheap but totally worth it. My current version uses 13 benches - the 17 was from an older version.

Pretty sweet! I can't understand why they didn't give us access to rooftops or basements, Especially with the price of these homes. Its just too bad that each part reduces your deco amount. They need to make like a full stairway or something you can get as one piece and in different sizes. If there is one, I do not know about it.

Yeah I totally agree with you!

@ZOS_GinaBruno are stairs, full stairways or ladders something you are planning to add in the future?

THAT is effing brilliant! Well done! It's unfortunate that it sucks up 100 item slots but hey it works and LOOKS fantastic!

Wont waste that much inventory space personally.

I did mine with two wooden planks outside the upper side exit, up to the corner of the roofline, then added three stone blocks to "smooth" the landing level with the eave! Complete access to roof that cost me FIVE inventory slots total!

Functional, inexpensive and doesn't look that bad either!

    That said...

I really like what you did OP. I just couldn't justify the inv slots needed or time to build that intricate thing.

If you want to copy it, you have to figure out how to do it by ourself. But bare in mind: If you do it I will find your house and turn off all the lights. Every night.

Actually there is a way to bottle my "inspiration", but man filling three crates will be hard work. Not sure if this liquid can boost your inspiration, but it might boost the inspiration of your future children.

Not just lack of access, but some homes have invisible walls preventing rooftop access. The Palatial Hall has a nice roof to run around on, but Twin Arches also has a nice flat roof but barriers prevent you from standing on it. Dumb dumb dumb.
