See you next week.
I'm curious, what are you trying to imply, champ?BrassRazoo wrote: »Have you thought about a partner perhaps?

I used to have this mentality, I really did. Kudos to you, sticking with the product.

I was being facetious. Currently frustrated with xbox na being down and assumed you were the same.

I've been unhappy and disagreed with a number of things that have been done, but since day 1 I've felt that way

I'm pretty much like you. I'll admit I was one of the people who was disappointed when they announced ESO ("OMG! No more Elder Scrolls games!"). But over time ESO has grown on me. So I still enjoy it, warts and all.
You know, actually I think ESO is best game ever made. Yes, I played other TES (Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim) and other games like WoW or GTA, but really nothing is even near ESO (except other TES there are nice too). Even if they willl make it 100% P2W I will play still. 99% of ESO community is not using forum, 'coz they love this game so much. Forum community is really other than in-game.
Hey, I didn't write that. If they will make it 100% P2W I will still play like before without spending more money.Unsent.Soul wrote: »You know, actually I think ESO is best game ever made. That's interesting. So no matter what your wallet is open to zenimax? No wonder they can implement the cash grab practices they do...

You evaded the question in the OP. I love the elder scrolls, too.
I've left the game for extended periods more than once already. First time was when they went from a subscription to a f2p model on pc. I've played more than a few games that did the same and it always ends up being a disappointment - and always a cash grab via microtransaction too.
Notice how this far into the game we still only have 4 basic mounts available without dumping extra cash into it? Notice how we went from motif books, to motif pages, to page fragments in order to "persuade" people into buying the motifs from the cash shop instead? Notice how we went from items on the crown store being sold at face value to a gambling system with crates that only have a very small chance to give you what you're after? All of these things are the result of the f2p change and I promise you it will continue getting worse and worse in that regard.
I came back to the game when consoles released eso and I was able to transfer my account from pc to ps4. Console opened the game to more of my family and friends who didn't have pcs that could run it.
That lasted a while until zos pushed me away again with more of the crown store shenanigans (this time it was going from those motif pages to page fragments, absolutely ridiculous).
I hopped back in around thieves guild and realized nothing had really changed, so I was gone for another year or so.
Morrowind's announcement, along with the fact that they're finally adding the warden class that I've been asking for since before pc launch, brought me back again a few weeks ago. I've bitten the bullet and started grinding champion points, gold, and materials to prepare for the Warden which will be my new main.
We'll see how long I stick around this time.
And I don't think that Crown Crates is cash grab. You see ESO forum community is the only one that sees P2W in cosmetics.
It has nothing to do with P2W. Nothing in this thread has ever mentioned P2W.I've left the game for extended periods more than once already. Look, as I told before, why for you cosmetics is money grab or p2w? It only changes characters look!!!

Crown crates are exactly that, they proceed to put cosmetic items that COULD be sold per item into a gamble system, to entice the addiction held player base and others, there are few supplemental items as well.
That's not the discussion at hand though, I may have been misleading with the "cash grab" part. Morrowind is the cash grab. They've held content from plus members to bundle the dlcs into a "chapter" while all the content in morrowind has been developed for a few years.
My opinions aside though, don't let the opinion of a disgruntled fan blind side anyone. What's the tipping point for you people?

Look! Another typical thing for ESO FORUM community. If somone is not hating destroy him quickly! Maybe somone will buy the game after reading this!

In any rpg, cosmetics are just as important to player immersion as stats, sometimes moreso even. Everyone likes to jump on the "it's only cosmetic so it doesn't matter" train as an excuse, but if that were true these cash shops wouldn't work, and systems like costumes or dyes or transmogrification would never have been created.
Appearance matters, whether you want to admit it or not.
