Houses in existing DLC zones?

There's been confirmation that new houses are coming with Morrowind expansion. And what about the DLC zones that already have been released? I mean, we have several zones with unique architecture and it would be nice to have a house in one of them. Me, for example, I really love Anvil and Kvatch cities. And I'm pretty sure many people also like Abah's Landing and Wrothgar.
Well, I know, that houses with Orsinium-like architecture are already in game so we can skip that, but, in my opinion, it is worth adding a couple houses to Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood zones, as it will also increase the value of owning those DLCs. And if blueprints and diagrams e.t.c. of zone-style furniture will start to drop in delves/from bosses there, it will be actually worth playing again for the players, who have already done all the quests and achievments.

The problem of dlc housing is what should happen after a subber house owner stop subbing.
To solve this there are two Possible ways:
1.You can only buy the house if you purchased the dlc. Though you can imagine the cry of subbers though (but many have already brought the dlcs with sub crowns too)
2.instead of leaving house to outside the house, make it like dungeon, you can fast travel to it, and when you leave you return to your original place before you travel to house. Thus for those who stopped subbing, they can still visit their house but not the real area

I desperately need/want a house in Abah's Landing, but I wouldn't like it, if it's a Thieves Den or any underground hideout.

If I could choose it should be an apartment or house...

To be honest I'm really annoyed that when I travel to some house, which is convenient, to decon all the things, clear my inventory and so on, I then come out and find myself in a middle of nowhere and I have to go to some distant wayshrine to port back. So yeah, this would be good even if ZOS don't wanna add houses to DLC locations.

    1. Port to your house and do your chores there.
    2. Port to a house you don't own (preview).
    3. Leave through the door... and profit!

While a lot of players will doubtless say they'd like houses in DLC zones, I wonder if that had happened how many of those players would now be complaining that it was a cash grab designed to force people to buy the DLCs?

Oh, I could not disagree more, this isn't a good idea.
I'm sure they'll come up with something to suit DLC housing, but I don't think this is it.
If you can be anything, be kind.

Well, they could make the houses availible with crowns for everyone and if you own the dlc you can buy it with either gold or crowns. That way everyone wins!

One solution to this dilemma would be to have the houses in their own sepperate zone right next to the DLC area. Similar to how the tropical island house works. So you travel there via a carriage or boat, and it takes you to an area with the same geography and architecture as the DLC zones, while still being sepperate.

I can imagine an orc Stronghold on a lonely mountain cliff west of Orsinium, or an isolated beach with a palace in an otherwise inaccessible part of Hews Bane.

That would be awesome! And it should look like a regular house/apartment, until you try to read that book and suddenly there's a secret passage to the thieve's den

How could you own a house situated in a zone to which you didn't have access? In theory you could teleport in and out, but it simply wouldn't make any sense.

This made me wonder. What happens if a person with ESO+ is in a DLC zone when the sub ends?

As for solving the problem with houses in those zones, I think your idea of making them instanced is a great way to solve it.

I like the idea of housing in existing DLC zones. Personally, I'd love an apartment or small house in Abah's Landing. A house in the wilds of Wrothgar would be cool too.

There are many such house ideas that many players would no doubt want.
In Skyrim and Oblivion, it was possible to purchase housing that, once certain upgrades were acquired, would allow the player to teleport to various areas of Cyrodill; Mages Guild, Various cities, et al.

I'd love to have a furniture item that acted as a teleport to a local mages guild, or perhaps to Eyevea instead.
Or a secret "tunnel entrance" that acted as a port to the nearest outlaw refuge.

One thing they should add are additional Dark Brotherhood Sanctuaries.
Since we have 1 Outlaw refuge per zone, should we not have at least 1 sanctuary per zone?
If that is too many, perhaps just one sanctuary per Alliance, including the one in the Gold Coast.

Anyhoo, when it comes to "housing", some of us would just prefer to decorate the equivalent of certain dungeons or crypts instead, similar to various hidden set crafting locations in the world.
I'd be fine with a "Crypt" that was modeled after the Night Mother's Gaze set crafting location in The Rift, that I could decorate accordingly.

I suspect some of these locked house will be ones. The imperial City makes me excited. People need houses in war zones. There's so much space too so add some more.
