The problematic attitude with perma emp

The perma emp title, something that happens when a player is crowned in a campaign that is then deleted, thus they are never dethroned and never lose the title, Chillrend xbox na is currently that campaign, and today every alliance boosted players to first, ep's top 2 players having 650k at the time i am typing this after boosting since the very second the campaign reset. Throughout the day i saw more trash talk and personal insults as i would in haderus xbox's most populated campaign in chillrend which never rose above 1 bar(used to be 0 before this campaign) after that a guild zerged down the map, and proceeded to congratulate each other on a good push and a good emp. This cant be what was intended by zos, 4 players feeding each other for 20 hours on a farm in a corner of the map then insulting anyone who calls them out on it. Remove the ability to have this perma emp title and do something about boosters, you are driving away legitimate players by letting this happen

If they get and lose emp again, they lose the title.

So they will have the title, but none of the buffs. Correct? If so, yeah, who cares. If anything it will end up being something to laugh at the person about.

Yea, if they don't have the buffs, I'd say they should keep the title. Mostly as remembrance for the campaign.

Their attitude sounds terrible (but that's 90 percent of PvPers in this game), but the glitch is kind of awesome.

As for their attitudes...dude...who cares? It's a game. Let the salt and animosity blow over. It's all irrelevant unless you let it get to you. Just focus on improving your own game, having fun with your friends, and getting enough sleep for work tomorrow.

I know of one player on Xbox who has the "Emperor" title permanently stuck from a deleted campaign. Pretty funny. Definitely makes you double take when you see him in Cyrodiil. You always think he is emp for a second until you remember. I figured there would be a huge push in the soon-to-be-deleted campaigns for that very reason.

We have 3 perma emps in our guild, It's a nice way to remember the old campaigns.

Qaevir's DK is perma-emp, I would've been perma emp if I cared enough but I dropped it for a carebear friend who offered me money and a full gold set of gear.

It's a neat glitch and a nice way to remember the good ole' days, at least on PC, nobody cares about you console peasants. The title has nothing to do with the guys' attitude, if the guy's a twit the guy's a twit. Taking away his title isn't going to magically change that.

So just to be clear this has nothing to do with any buffs from being emperor its merely that the Emperor title remains with the character? If that's the case then I don't really see a problem. I'm sure if it really bothered ZOS they could patch it out.

No, they don't continue to have the emp buffs. It's just the title.

Please, Shadzilla knows he's my sugar daddy and he knows hes a fury little khajiit carebear. I wouldn't have one shot people with leap for months without his glorious golden codpiece anyways.

It will eventually happen again. They will have to expand more than likely after June with all the people returning. People will more than likely PvP in Cyrodiil while sitting in their Battleground queues and so it'll be popping with people.

Thats the optimistic approach, sure. and for all our sakes, i really hope youre right. ESO offers a really unique pvp experience this side of the genre. Cyrodiil hasnt changed very much in 3 years yet, it never really gets old due to the extremely dynamic level of play.

4v4 battlegrounds is going to draw a lot of attention. a lot of teams are going to form and compete. and we still dont know details on how its going to be arranged. like, what if one team wants to fight a specific other team? if all 8 of them queue in, doesnt that mean no down time?

That's a neat concept. I would just make it to where Haderus is just an open-world PvP map that isn't capture. Everyone just field fights between the keeps / outposts frequently and use Forward Camps for expedition fights (Bridge War) for DC, etc.
